  1. Hopefully eventually they get through. The 0HR stat is really alarming this time of the year.
  2. I guess he wants defense vs a better bat for the day. Meh
  3. Naw, my lady and I don't have kids, I bought a condo a few years ago when I was 23 before prices got crazy and yeah some people buy trucks, boats, ATV's and s***, I personally travel and see the world instead. Japan again in August with a detour down to Australia.
  4. I get 5 weeks of vacation a year with overtime taken as lieu time instead, that's how I manage. I haven't had a Christmas/New Years/Long weekend off in 6 years so I accumulate a lot of time off by working those days that you Monday - Friday 9-5 people have off all the time.
  5. He didn't have to go run by the plate again, he knew what he was doing. He should have been warned but JD isn't innocent here.
  6. He was arguing balls and strikes while in the box, then bitched about it again when he purposely jogged back near the home plate umpire, idiot move by JD.
  7. He was arguing balls and strikes while in the box, then bitched about it again when he purposely jogged back near the home plate umpire, idiot move by JD.
  8. I travel a lot, it's a passion of mine. I am off to Hawaii on Tuesday so yes I travel to other places besides Vegas.
  9. Ross Atkins giggle bear laughing with JD like he is Loyd Christmas in dumb and dumber.
  10. It really isn't travel a bit to other stadiums and besides never having a rain delay or rain out the Skydome is a hot pile of s***. I have been to every ballpark now in the bigs and the Trop is the worst and the Skydome is 2nd behind it, Arlington's is s*** too, just boring and a horrible location.
  11. I had to get a google image of the guy for the game day, he pitched decent in the Twins vs Tigers gongshow last week in relief.
  12. I think the Jays will score 6+ runs again today, doubt it comes down to bullpens but if it does Floyd and Osuna are rested.
  13. A sweep of this series would put the Jays back at .500 and we can all hope the bats stay hot and they go on a run to end the month out.
  14. http://i.imgur.com/srz5ESA.png The Toronto Blue Jays got their offense going in the series opener and attempt to continue swinging hot bats Saturday as they resume their four-game set against the host Minnesota Twins. Five players recorded multi-hit performances as Toronto posted a 9-3 victory on Friday after scoring three runs or fewer in each of its previous four contests. Jose Bautista has gone 3-for-9 with a homer and three RBIs while batting in the leadoff spot over the first two games of the series and has hit safely in eight of his last nine. Minnesota's losing streak reached five games on Friday as it squandered an early lead and fell for the 13th time in 15 contests. The Twins have dropped eight in a row at home, last winning at Target Field on April 26 against Cleveland. Robbie Grossman had quite the debut on Friday, finishing a triple shy of the cycle a day after having his contract purchased from Triple-A Rochester. TV: 2:10 p.m. ET, MLB Network, Sportsnet (Toronto), FSN North (Minnesota) PITCHING MATCHUP: Blue Jays LH J.A. Happ (5-1, 3.40 ERA) vs. Twins LH Pat Dean (0-1, 4.50) Happ looks to rebound from a dismal performance against Tampa Bay on Monday, when he was battered for a season-high eight runs and seven hits in two-plus innings for his first loss of 2016. The 33-year-old native of Illinois worked at least six frames and yielded three runs or fewer in each of his first seven turns this year. Happ, who has posted a 1.91 ERA in four road outings, is 1-2 with a 6.75 ERA in four career games (three starts) versus Minnesota. Dean will be making his first major-league start after going 1-3 with a 3.00 ERA in six turns for Triple-A Rochester earlier this season. The 26-year-old Connecticut native has made two relief appearances for the Twins, including a 5 1/3-inning effort at Detroit on Monday in which he gave up two runs on 10 hits. Dean made his debut on May 11, when he yielded two runs on four hits and two walks in 2 2/3 frames against Baltimore. WALK-OFFS 1. Blue Jays LF Michael Saunders has hit safely in 11 of his last 13 games and recorded six multi-hit performances in his last 10 contests. 2. Minnesota OF Danny Santana went 4-for-8 over the first two contests of the series. 3. Toronto DH Edwin Encarnacion went 0-for-5 on Friday, ending his hitting streak at five games.
  15. If they build it up near Downsview I will be so butthurt.
  16. Yeah I work in the area and just went to the bank real quick and took the photo. As for location, yeah Rogers Centre is great for a commuter, Petco in San Diego is right downtown near all the bars and restaurants, Detroit's is right downtown but it's Detroit, AT&T is in a good location and PNC Park is amazing as well. If and when the Jays ever get a new park I wonder what location they will pick, they don't have the room to buy more land and demo the old stadium. I would love for a ballpark near Dundas West station, GO runs through there, TTC, and it could have a Wrigleyville vibe if it was done right.
  17. I am going to guess next home stand the roof will be open unless it is raining, much needed
  18. Dome is open right meow, so that's some good news. http://i.imgur.com/DFrXQnS.jpg
