  1. It looks like only PS4 version of THE SHOW 16 is available in Canada.. (Bestbuy, EB Games, etc) Unless you download it on the PSN.
  2. I saw the eb games and best buy website and they are only selling PS4 edition of the MLB THE SHOW 16 Thought the game is released in both PS4 and PS3.. Amazon US website has PS3 option, but Amazon.ca doesn't.
  3. I think MLB 16 THE SHOW will be my last game played on my PS3... I'm thinking about getting PS4 around Black Friday or Boxing Day this year
  4. The great thing about Choate is that he is lefty and sidearm.. Although he only throws 84-85mph fastball, left handed hitters will have tough time hitting his ball He also has wipeout slider.. I was hoping that the Blue Jays will sign Matt Thornton (who eventually ended up in San Diego) He is just year younger than Choate, but he can still throw mid 90s fastball.
  5. I got a decent seat for Canada Day (Section 522) and good seat for my birthday too (May 3rd vs Rangers) (Section 218)
  6. I'm not gonna go to the home opener and trying for Canada Day instead
  7. I'm probably gonna try home opener and Canada Day again on Thursday.. I secured couple of tickets on my birthday (Jays vs Rangers) and I will either bring my best buddy or my girlfriend to the game Section 218, row 12
  8. Secured my ticket for my birthday!! May 3rd against the Rangers. Glad to see the Blue Jays play against the team which has Korean player (Shin Soo Choo)
  9. Apparently, the sale for the single game ticket started to those who subscribe to the inside pitch today.. And regular single game ticket sales start on Thursday.. Couldn't secure the home opener ticket.. Now I'm now trying to get a ticket for my birthday, but I don't know why the link is so slow...
  10. I'm probably gonna decide between Bautista and Donaldson.. Bautista one will be worthy forever because he can be classified as a legend of the Blue Jays
  11. Here's my new list.. who should I choose? 20 Donaldson: I don't know if he is going to be traded, but I'm expecting he will be our star player 55 Martin: I know he is going to stay much longer... 6 Stroman: He is young, but he hadn't played full season yet... I'm not going to choose Bautista and Encarnacion because they maybe gone after this year
  12. There are few non-Korean players playing in the Korean league (Including former Blue Jays Eric Thames and Zach Stewart). Many of them said active cheers during the game is exciting.
  13. Korean league has bunch of cheergirls and male cheerleaders.. who has loud voice
  14. (Probably the loudest cheer) (Another loud cheer) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S3Nr4bufYQ (Cheer using smartphone flashlight) (Voice Cheer) Korean people go to the ballpark not only to watch a game, but also to cheer. I think this kind of culture is good for driving some young fans into the game. I heard MLB is losing so many younger fans to other sports like soccer.. Many people say baseball is boring, but it won't be boring if you go to ballpark in Korea. I wish some of those cheers can be done in some ballparks in the MLB.. (Like flashlight one) The only creative cheer I could see in the MLB is the Tomahawk Chop by the Atlanta Braves.
  15. Last year, I bought WHITE (Home) Blue Jays cool base jersey without player's name on the back. I actually thought about marking David Price's name on the back, but it won't happen since he left to the BoSox. Now I'm thinking about three players. 2 Tulowitzki 19 Bautista 20 Donaldson My favorite player is Donaldson, and I already have t-shirts with his name on it. I like Tulo, but I don't know if he can play like what he did in Colorado Bautista is such a legendary player, but he still has chance to leave the team since he is a free agent after 2016. Right now, I'm leaning toward Donaldson.. but which player do you recommend? I'm trying to choose carefully because one of my friend who is Braves fan bought Jason Heyward's jersey in 2014, but he got traded like few days after my friend bought the jersey.
  16. Sorry for blaming and criticizing Shapiro and Atkins... I really think this is a great deal
  17. I'm from Korea and I know a lot about Seung Whan Oh.. I know he has very good fastball.. His velocity is around mid 90s.. However, I don't know if he will be successful in the MLB level.. since mid 90 fastball is just an average for the relief pitchers.
  18. This is just what I'm thinking, but I think the Blue Jays have the weakest relief pitching in the AL East as of now. Here are 7th inning, setup and closer trio for each teams in the division Red Sox Carson Smith-Koji Uehara-Craig Kimbrel Yankees Delin Betances-Andrew Miller-Aroldis Chapman Baltimore Michal Givens-Darren O'Day-Zach Britton Rays Steve Geltz-Brad Boxberger-Jake McGee (It will be either McGee or Boxberger for the closing job) Blue Jays ??-Brett Cecil-Roberto Osuna I really think the Blue Jays made huge mistake when they traded Liam Hendricks to Oakland for Jesse Chavez.. If Hendricks could keep his momentum going for the 2016 season, he could have been one of the best 7th or 8th inning guy in the league. And I also think putting Aaron Sanchez in the rotation is a gamble as well. Right now, there are only.. few pitchers remaining in the free agent market who can potentially be 7th or 8th inning guy Looks like Clippard and Bastardo are the only two. If they don't improve their pitching (especially on the relief), Mark Shapiro deserves to get murdered by the random Jays fans. I have to say they have to keep their momentum going for 2016... and not rebuild.....
  19. The National League NL WEST Dodgers: Clear NO (Adrian Gonzalez) DBacks: Clear NO (Paul Goldschmidt) Rockies: Maybe or likely (Morneau is a free agent, and Wilin Rosario sucks) San Diego: dunno San Fran: Clear NO (They have Brandon Belt, and Posey sometimes plays at 1B) NL Central Cardinals: Maybe or likely (They have Brandon Moss, Matt Adams, Stephen Piscotty, but they are lacking productions) Cubs: Clear NO (Rizzo) Cincinnati: Clear NO (Votto) Pittsburgh: Maybe or likely (Pedro Alvarez is the worst defenseman....) Milwaukee: Not likely (They exercised the option of Adam Lind) NL East Mets: Clear NO (DUDA~~~~) Nationals: Maybe or no (Zimmerman is playing at first, but he is fragile like Tulo) Phillies: Dunno Braves: Clear NO (FREEMAN) Marlins: hmmm
  20. Some source says Rockies bid on him, but did not win..
  21. Here are the odds AL EAST Red Sox: They have Travis Shaw as their first baseman, but they are also considering moving Hanley Ramirez to first, so maybe or not likely.. Yankees: Absolutely not likely.. They already have Teixeira, and they also have Greg Bird on deck once Tex leaves.. Rays: Not likely.. because they are the team with low payroll Blue Jays: They have too many first baseman, but I doubt Smoak will not return to the team.. maybe or not likely Orioles: They don't have first baseman right now, and they said that they lost the bid AL Central Detroit: Miguel Cabrera.. and Victor Martinez as a DH, so NO. Kansas City: Eric Hosmer.. White Sox: Jose Abreu Twins: They have Mauer at first and Miguel Sano as a DH, but many people say they can be the front runner Indians: Maybe or likely.. Carlos Santana isn't really reliable AL West Texas: Heard they are not the front runner Angels: Pujols for next 6 or 7 years.. and CJ Cron is also there too Oakland: Danny Valencia, Mark Canha, Billy Butler.. Too many options, plus they have no money Seattle: They already have Mark Trumbo, but he is similar to JP Arencibia Houston: Chris Carter...
  22. I sent twitter to Shi Davidi and Barry Davis about this, and they didn't even tweet about that. This may mean 1. The Blue Jays did not make a bid.. 2. The Blue Jays won the bid, but the team set 'press embargo', so they are not allowed to spread the news until certain date.
  23. Right now, I heard the Cardinals and the Orioles are not the winner... and it is down to Washington, Colorado, Seattle are the three teams likely to win the bid.. Nobody is predicting the Blue Jays because we have too many first baseman... I think we need to release Smoak anyway..
  24. I'm Korean and if Byung Ho Park comes to the Blue Jays, I think a lot more Korean fans will come and watch the Jays game.. I have a jersey which is unmarked, but I will put his name once he come..
  25. He is a first baseman from Korean league, and unknowned team won the posting bid of $12.85M. His stat last year in Korean league. BA: 0.343 HR: 53 RBI: 146 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2CE70kdhoc (This is a video of his first 30 homeruns in 2015) However, Korean league has been hitter friendly few years ago.. For example, Jung Ho Kang (who is now with the Pirates) hit 40 home run in 2014 before going to the major league. There are no news about whether the Blue Jays bid on him.. but heard the teams including the Red Sox, Orioles, and the Cardinals are not the winner.. I know they bid for Yu Darvish few years ago, but they were outbid by the Rangers.. I think the Blue Jays may need to look at some international players since they are not the favorable destination for free agents.. With Encarnacion becoming a free agent next year.. and Justin Smoak being unreliable... I know we have too many right handed batter.. but he may end up becoming a better option than signing Chris Davis.
