    As a yankee I always liked lawrie. Thought he just had some bad luck. I know some of his injuries were from effort and that's a lot different than just being glass in my book

    This is why offense is a crap shoot in the playoffs. Players change their approach and if the pitching isn't there it's over. These games have felt a lot like the playoffs to us fans, and I'm sure the players feel the same .

    Only thing I figure is that they are trying to free up money for 2017 because swisher and bourns contracts will more than likely be done after 2016.

    I don't know how it works in Canada, but I know fox has bought the rights for a lot of these games in recent past, but that might just be the games further down the line.

    Probably nyyfans, or prosports daily. nyyfans has a fairly strict set of guidelines so you're not going to see a ton of name calling or anything real awful even towards other teams. I just read them mostly.

    There was talk of the orioles trading for an ace, but word on the street was they didn't have a package of minor guys to do it.

    I remember looking at the stats for the Yankees after they faced Wakefield for all those years and they had a really good record against him, and the game after they faced him they fared well. I don't think they go up there thinking about it too much so doubt it lingers. I think they just see ball hit ball. If it's dancing around not much you can do.

    Ive been reading all these forums for years now. I think orioles fans are freaking out because they genuinely know their window is closing quickly. They don't have much in their farm, and they are going to lose a large chunk of their core soon here to free agency.
