    With how drawn out Free Agency is - I kind of hope there is a lockout. No other sports league has this much gamesmanship where teams/players/agents nickle and dime each other so hard. A cap fixes that.

    IMO, Bo projects as a slightly above replacement level player for most of his next contract. Not going to lose sleep if he walks. Has to be for the right price/positional flexibility

    Im getting sick of what Im going to assume are Boras-paid updates (Heyman today) on Vladdy. He's not worth $500M, team shouldnt give him $300M+ Spread it around and round out the roster. He's not generational as much as his team keeps trying to convince us.

    Initially a bit bothered by the lack of an extension but rational thoughts have prevailed. As others have already summarized, dude just isn't worth what he's asking for. To me, the real question(s) are this: 1. Do you keep Vladdy and go for it? 2. Do you trade Vladdy for some combo of MLB-players and prospects? Answer that while considering, what does it do to Santander, Max, + etc etc

    If LAD's rotation is as fragile as discussed/has been historically - couple that with a playoff heater run and anything can happen.
