    I'm not sure how I feel about playing the Yankees in the divisional round. Plus I think the Yankees beat Kansas City if they play in the divisional round. I guess it all depends upon pitching matchups with the AL West in a five game series as to whether there is a huge advantage over a one or two seed. But I also would much rather play Kansas City at home in game one.

    Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. My confusion was that I thought the rule was a division winner and wildcard could not play in the divisional round if from the same division and therefore we could not play the yanks assuming they win the play-in. I must have created that rule in my mind. Thanks again for the info.

    Am I right in that the magic number is 2? Also, what is the difference between the 1 and 2 seed as to who we play or could play in the ALDS? I know the ramifications for the ALCS. Thanks.
