  1. Don't think you should be allowed to literally sit on the bag to prevent a runner from getting back, but I'll take it.
  2. LOL those Blue Jay fans with the K signs. That's awesome. Why can't we have this kind of atmosphere at home?
  3. Give up a HR to a guy below replacement level. And yeah, I know Trumbo has a lot of pop, but oppo taco?
  4. You'd have to stand on top of the wall to get that one.
  5. Lol what? Buck and Pat saying Cano struggled last year due to lack of other hitters (i.e. protection) in the lineup, so they went out and got Cruz... uh, Cano was very good last year. This year, he's turned to s*** till recently. You couldn't make less sense if you tried.
  6. They're offense was never really good to begin with, Austin Jackson injured for a while, and Cano can't hit a beachball now.
  7. Always slightly amusing to see that one Jays fan get stuck in King's Court. and then the rest of the crowd be a Blue Jay invasion.
  8. Don't forget the recent news of the Rays and O's heavily contemplating selling. That would just ratchet up our chances more. As well as the Tigers selling... yeah. We gotta make a push IMO if that's all true.
  9. If the Rays and the O's are selling, then we really gotta make a push.
  10. Guys like Carrasco and Archer are the exact reason you don't give up on guys like Sanchez too IMO. If he can have that delivery and his mechanics cleaned up to where he has more deception and can get more whiffs...

For once, I like the direction we're going in. Hire two of the most respected people in their respective fields (Babcock for coaching, Lou for GMing, and in Lou's case, a f***ing legend) and then surround them with young guys to learn for them and grow under their tutelage (Keefe/Smith, Hunter/Dubas), all sharing the same vision most importantly. We actually have a vision here. A damn good vision. I just really hope the execution is there, because that's what ends up counting in the end. This is legitimately the first time I've felt good as a Leaf fan in about 11 years, and that was just being a 9 year old clueless optimist in 2004 lol.

Lou ran the most tight, close to the vest ship in NJ. Nothing ever gets to the media. Lou is gonna cut the balls off the media. Can't wait to see Steve Simmons squirm. As for Lou himself, keep in mind Parise bolting because ownership was broke and Kovalchuk retiring out of literally nowhere pretty much devastated the Devils. Hard to recover from that. He's built a solid D out of little too (save Larsson).
  13. Too close to overturn. He may have been out, but his heel may have hit the bag first. Can't say I've seen a video review walkoff situation, though.
  14. Of course, with a righty on the mound and spaghetti arm Navarro catching, we throw out Burns. I just don't even at this point.
  15. Great AB, Valencia. Blind squirrel Gibbons, meet nut.
  16. It's just an excuse for Gibbons to give his precious Navarro more PT.
  17. Wait, NOW you use Carrera to pinch run? When you should've with a much slower runner in Edwin and nobody out. Not only that, but also keeping your all star catcher in the game instead of taking him out for f***ing Navarro. Christ, Gibby, what the f***.
