  1. Nope, that run was Lowe's responsibility. 1 out and still has dat pristine ERA.
  2. Just have a position player in for the 9th.
  3. There is such a thing as dumb luck. Yost is the living definition of it.
  4. This is just a load of s***. I actually find it disgusting to accuse a team of illicitly stealing signs based on nothing. Our offense hasn't come through theirs has. That's the long and short of why we're down 2-0, along with some pockets of bad luck sprinkled in. Seriously. In this day and age with cameras everywhere and everything you practically do in public grounds being recorded, there's no humanly possible way they could get away with it. All it takes is a curious fan sitting in the wrong place or an employee with a conscience. This is just the man in white crap you're pulling with the Royals, and just as I found it offensive and outrageous when ESPN did it to us, I find it the same way with you doing it to the Royals. Please, don't be that weams idiot. This is the exact type of s*** he would post.
  5. He was pretty well respected up until the team stopped making the playoffs. Once that happened, all these 90 year old geezers started calling Sundin a phony leader because apparently, he does not play with heart and is not vocal/demonstrative. I mean, last I checked, you can lead by example, but for some braindead idiots, the heart of a hockey player is measured by their passport. Yes, it's sad. That said, the absolute storm of s*** came down after that NTC thing. I never blamed him for it and even though it may look a little bit hypocritical, it is a tiny, microscopic blip on what was a great tenure in Toronto and all the great things he did for the Leafs. Too bad some people are nationalist f***tards that listen to Don Cherry and take his word as gospel and don't respect Sundin nearly as much as he should be and just use the NTC as a copout.
  6. I cannot think of a legit Toronto sports franchise player that's ever been s*** on as much as Bautista. Even Sundin did not get treated this badly, and the treatment towards him was despicable.
  7. Except you need to have elite player development. You think Noah would be anywhere near where he is now right here? I mean, when we traded him, he was pretty raw. He could throw 100 but didn't have the greatest secondary stuff and din't even have a 3rd pitch. No guarantee he develops the same way here. I mean, before probably Stroman, the last homegrown star we had was Hill. Hell, look at Arrieta in Baltimore vs Arrieta now. As for Hoffman... he doesn't have much deception and can't really strike anyone out with the lack of deception in his new delivery forced onto him which is much like Sanchez's delivery (which, obviously, is not very conducive to strikeouts) by us. Those K numbers haven't exactly shot up in Colorado's farm either. Oh, speaking of, Hoffman has now managed to go to an organization that is horrendous at pitcher development. I can guarantee you he doesn't reach his potential while he's with the Rockies. Hech cannot hit to save his life, he is absolute trash with the bat. Lawrie and Gose are undisciplined toolsy nightmares. Those guys... they could've been developed better in our system but haven't done anything elsewhere either. Speaking of Gose, our best position player to come up from the minors since Hill is Travis. That's it. That's how bad our player development is when our best player that came up was completely developed by another organization. It takes elite player development and drafting... you wonder how the Cards are able to replace almost everyone that gets hurt or leaves nearly seamlessly? They are great at drafting and even better at developing. We may do well drafting, but our player development is s***. I mean, our only homegrown star pitcher since Doc being Stroman and our only hitting prospect to translate well to the bigs since Hill being Travis? Pathetic. That said, once more, I think AA does a really good job at drafting, but really needs to overhaul player development IMO.
  8. Well, there's only one organization that does that (the Cards). It's insanely difficult to achieve. Not only do you need to have an unwavering philospophy and elite scouting and drafting and elite player development, but you need to be committed like HELL to it when things get bumpy and have support from ownership that may not necessarily care about the inner workings and only cares about payroll and results. Is it preferable? Absolutely. Is it incredibly difficult to achieve? Absolutely.
  9. Da f*** was that "AAAoooUH" noise Reynolds just made when describing that pitch? Is that Reynolds' mating call or something?
  10. Meanwhile, in Washington: http://i.giphy.com/jQmVFypWInKCc.gif http://i.giphy.com/O5NyCibf93upy.gif
  11. I'm scared to death. Let's f***ing go. No matter what happens... it's been a great season.
  12. Price can pitch on Wednesday out of the pen if need be as well if he only goes 2 innings here. No reason he can't.
  13. Pillar channeled all his chin power into that swing. Hell yeah.
  14. These things called side sessions...
