It isn't likely the ones upset by him taking adderall would have anything to say about it if it were someone on their own team. This is just as bad as O's fans saying that there's something fishy going on with the Jays because of the homeruns they hit. It's all petty jealousy, really.

If he has any level of maturity at all, which I think he does, there shouldn't be any issues on his end with the decision. I don't understand why some are acting as if it's the end of the world. -

I love it, because just about every team has at least one guy that eats Blue Jay pitching alive, it gets annoying to see and hear about it constantly. Nice to have guys on our side who return the favour.

Good pitching will shut down a good offense, that's not a startling revelation. Can throw them off for a bit afterwards but they'll come around. The Yanks have a great offense but they just recently went through a stretch where they couldn't buy a run to save their life, but now they've come around again. Anyone who thinks their team should score 8-10 runs every game should probably try lowering their expectations.

I agree whoever gets the job needs to be able to look at everyone equally. I have no problem with the Rays fans we have here, they aren't obnoxious about it and contribute to the every day flow of the forum. Now Calrip is another story, although I'm slowly starting to go from being annoyed to being amused by the little pest.
