  1. I agree, but those injuries are starting to add up, linger and cost the team Ws. Wong is better than anyone other than Travis that the Jays can run out there. Gyorko is a nice addition in STL.
  2. Wong lost his job (or at least will need to share it) and he mentioned players from the Jays who 'needed time to figure it out'. Could he be a fit for the Jays. His contract is a little scary but the Cards could eat some of it. Travis hasn't proven he can stay healthy this far. http://www.sportingnews.com/mlb/news/kolten-wong-calls-out-cardinals-after-losing-starting-position/11wjxw08b7cgu1adz98rpvkma2
  3. Needs work on managing relievers, should be better with Dickey and Thole gone.
  4. Think about the game extending, causing the manager to have to manage better and then also thinking about using arms in the final etc.
  5. This was not baseball, this was a manufactured mockery of the game I love. They should be ashamed of this ending.
  6. Riiiiggghhhtttt. My uncle's sisters cousins friend says your full of sh!t.
  7. Not sure if it's allowed here but there are MLBStreams on Reddit.
  8. I was told today that there will be no black outs for Jays games for those in Canada. I have two other locations I work out of and teams I follow closely and every year they say the same thing and it never comes to fruition. Also, the MLBStreams can be found online (even though I still pay for MLB TV).
  9. Someone creative change it to a pot leaf and #LetsBlaze
  10. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6lInOUcUkqk
  11. There is nothing stopping pitchers or players from wearing safety gear today. Players know the risk and prefer to be comfortable. It's the risk of the profession until something comfortable and not goofy looking is invented.
  12. Maybe then we can put them in front of all the players... players know the risk.
  13. My sources tell me this is false.
  14. Sounds like Brett is holding off signing with a team per his agent. Always a good idea to take time away from the game as an overrated player to ensure future work. The truth? No one has an injured infielder without a better option in the system right now. Hard pass by the Jays is likely a good call.
  15. Clubhouse attitude goes a long way.
  16. Munenori is a better option at this point. Could probably get him from the Cubs for any player that isn't Brett Lawrie
  17. Facts are lost on some. If I am management, I avoid Lawrie and go with someone with less baggage and issues.
  18. Outside the lines matters, or he would still have a job. Personalities play a big part in a baseball clubhouse. His kind is not liked.
  19. I can't spell it out for you, it's not worth the effort. Maybe someone else can help you take the (4 teams in 7 years, fight with coaches, hitting umpires, team mates who can't stand him, released and unsigned, not on Team Canada) blinders off. Pompey is trying to make a team. Morneau is looking for a job. Etc. I get that you like him but he is a douche whose personality disrupts club houses. Why would you risk that idiot on a playoff team?
  20. Why isn't he on Team Canada?
  21. Douche-WAR is never subtle. Douche does wear off on other players. It measurable off the field as well.
