    When have police ever followed up on every single silly complaint? Somebody high up in Rogers likely called somebody high up in the Toronto Police and leaned on him to try and go scare somebody. It's not like you can just run up to the statue and run away with it.

    Using an old write up from when he was with another team to announce his signing with a new team with no explanation why you're using an old news clipping is odd. If you had of just explained that then it would have made sense, when I opened the the thread I thought you must have copy/pasted the wrong news clipping.

    Great post, I think it was the actions of Rogers of how they went about hiring Shapiro(and trying to poach others) that really chaffed at him. Add in a demotion and you end up with how things went down. Shapiro didn't really have a chance at keeping AA around.

    He played more short in the minors then any other position. He's actually played every spot except catcher and pitcher in the minors.

    Starting depth was an issue last year? Outside of Matt Boyd and Redmond being terrible everybody else was pretty decent.

    So is it time for a 6 man rotation where the starter makes a bullpen appearance in the middle? Partly in jest, but, if relievers are going to start making more then starters it's time to push towards a new market inefficiency of some sort. 10 man rotations and piggy back them!

    I doubt the league cares about the exchange rate per se, but, if the Jays come in with a lower revenue that would have an impact on crying hard times.

    I know bullpens are just rife with risk and volatility, but, I'll be glad when they finally start signing some pen arms.
