    I don't post much, but I think like with most folks it's not your opinion. It's your lack of ability to convey your opinion in a way that is so overtly arrogant(intentional or not). You should stop talking in absolutes about prospects and their exact future, unless you enjoy the role of the victim then by all means carry on!

    No, while I don't know what Hurl looks like, he's not going to be one of the fastest guys in the MLB. You're ignoring that his 40yd time didn't include swinging a bat and having to straighten out to run.

    Ok sure, maybe when he first came up he did throw hard. He had no future on that path though.

    Believe it has more to do with Borucki and Pannones arrival. Rios and Dawson have both left the rotation recently.

    Sort of 9 years. He wasn't up for good until 2001 after Queen fixed him.

    I don't remember him being a flame thrower which is why I checked. As I'm not intimately familiar with pitch recognition software, when could they reliably differentiate cutters from 4 seamers? Looking on fg it has him throwing cutters 25% or more from 2007 on and there was no jump on his 4seam velo.

    Doc wasn't really a fireballer, he sat at 91.2(vFA) for his career. I get what you're saying, just isn't a great example to me.

    Yep. Tabby is horrendous. Dan and Buck can be decent as Shulman does all the work and Buck can just babble.

    Not that it would of helped. He went in for surgery shortly after getting signed by the Giants and won't even begin rehab for another couple of weeks at best.

    Alford was added to the Jays 40-man Nov. 18th, 2016. And they can just DFA Coghlan to make room for Leblejian.

    Ruth also never saw a gym, knew what a decent diet was or how to tone down the boozing and smoking. Impossible to compare.
