I would like to see what rule or law there is in regards to opening up a roof.
Even if that's true. There isn't a reason it can't be open on a nice April/May day. What's really going to happen? The roof is just going to start falling down when they open it up? Odds are pretty low that will happen. And if it does, postpone the game, not a big deal. Plenty of games around the MLB are postponed in the spring.
I wouldn't say I'm depriving myself. I'll go to 3-4 games a year and I'd rather go when the roof is open, much better atmosphere. I'd rather watch at home then at the Dome with the roof closed.
I remember that. I just think it's Rogers being cheap and trying to save money on hydro.
