  1. Stating facts. Do you consider a .561 winning percentage a great team?
  2. Lowest SwStr% 2015 #1 Michael Brantley 2.7 % #2 Ben Revere 3.8 %
  3. Also BP projects as 19th in WAR. You can buy into current season stats (i.e. Lowe) or you buy into projections. The choice is yours.
  4. Very good, maybe. Not great.
  5. You are fundamentally wrong. Even with Price our pitching projects as 12th in the majors. Not a great team. Maybe a very good team. Not a great team. A fun team. Not a great team.

  7. Great offense, not great team.
  8. Martin is SLGing .111 in August. That is not a typo.
  9. Baseball requires such a high level of talent, not being at 100% is a huge crutch and can have serious repercussions to individual performance that carry over to the team. You see it all the time. You need to put the healthy player in.
  10. Who woulda thunk the starter of GDT's would have an impact on our win/loss record? I have a lot to learn.
  11. Offense has been s***.
  12. wRC+ of -9 since end of August........ PUT f***ING NAVARRO IN and LET MARTIN HEAL FFS
  13. Martin playing injured is hurting this team. wRC+ of 63 since June 23. That's Goins territory.
  14. We can, but as you said it's not likely. Comes down to pitching (they have better pitching all-around) and the fact that the they have an edge in the standings.
  15. This is teh dummest.
  16. Jays medical staff doing it again. Martin playing injured, not healing, aggravating injury and bat has dropped off completely (don't care what he says about it not affecting his bat... he's either lying or wrong).
  17. #1 The Yankees were at home and the celebrations are always bigger #2 A grand slam is more celebratory than a 3-run HR (even though it's only 1 more run) #3 The 2 guys at homeplate were just pranking Josh the way they walked away #4 The camerawork was way better on the Yankees, getting right in on it #5 The Yankees are all gay, so it's a lovefest regardless
  18. Pretty much everything went right for them in 2013, nearly all of their players were performing at or around career highs.
  19. A lot of it has to do with his velocity IMO... he had more velo when he was with the Mets. The added velocity gives him better control and more K's... he's had 1-2 more mph in his last 7 or so starts, and in those starts he's not walking anyone and not giving up many HRs. http://www.fangraphs.com/pitchfxo.aspx?playerid=1245&position=P&pitch=KN
  20. If Osuna was a starter he'd probably win ROY
  21. Good game. Pretty sure Dickey still sucks and just had a lucky stretch.
  22. Ha... is it wrong that two things enter my mind whenever someone writes DP (and one is not "Deadpool").
  23. Uhhh.... mmm k /ignored for high-level desperation trolling. Good luck with that!
