  1. Biggio's a weird dude. His K% keeps on rising each month, and he's stopped hitting, but he's also walking 21.4% in July and has an OBP of .398. 40% of his walks have come over the past 22 games. He's always been noted for his plate discipline but he seems to be plateauing already as a hitter.
  2. Travis' arm strength will keep him at 2nd
  3. I said could be SP depth. I have no problem keeping Biagini in the pen and even mentioned him as a current lock.
  4. Osuna, Grilli, Biagini, Barnes, Loup in the pen. I'd target Dunn/Blevins for another lefty and Hochevar/Casilla as another middle relief/setup option, one or both righties could slide Biagini into AAA SP depth.
  5. It was very nice of Colabello to give Barney (and Carrera) his babip.
  6. No it is his natural position. Barney moved to 2B because Castro was the Cubs shortstop.
  7. I love Stroman, but you have to believe that he's being way too predictable with his pitches. Majority of his 2 strike counts have been 2seam/slider down and away, and his sinker in those situations has gotten zero whiffs.
  8. I'd have to think he was the first guy they asked. He said no though.
  9. Would've gotten Trout if not for Nolin's debut
  10. No guarantee with the bum knees
  11. It'd take him 3+ years to get to where his brother is right now.
  12. Yep I'm thinking one of those guys will be our choice
