  1. If you look up Dickey's run support compared to the rest of the starting rotation, I'm sure there's a correlation cuz he just deflates everyone including the hitters. Edit: Looks like it's just this season comparing him to Buehrle
  2. Yeah rather watch Norris find himself than Dickey.
  3. Lol it's 2-0, let's get Dickey out and try to win this one.
  4. LMFAO Kinda feel sorry for Dickey sometimes. He can't control his own pitch, umps squeeze him, catchers can't catch him, and fans hate him.
  5. I think if everyone just tunes out Dickey, the amount of runs he gives up are not overwhelming. It's more the way he gives them up that pisses everyone off.
  6. Ok....how the hell do you put Goins in the lineup for his average and then still have a hit and run on?
  7. Yeah but HR's aren't even the problem a lot of the time, it's those walks. Somehow he had good walk rates for those 3 years.
  8. But RC was supposed to improve his command with the dome closed.
  9. Makes you wonder how the hell he actually managed to pull off 2012.
  10. That was Martin's mistake, but f*** Rivera has got to go, he is the biggest idiot when it comes to reacting fluidly. This is like the 3rd time that he could see the runner was not gonna be able to stop at 3rd and stopped him anyway resulting in an out, the other situation that came to mind was that time Pillar overran third. Runner mistake for sure, but you gotta be able to react to that and send the guy when you can tell he is out for sure if you don't...esp with 2 outs.
  11. Well atleast Melky is stinkin it up too.
  12. Especially that Bullpen. Looks really good. Not to mention our starting rotation going forward would look something like Hamels Stroman Norris Hutch Rather overpay for Hamels over Cueto b/c of control years. Hoffman, Pompey + are pieces we can afford to let go.
  13. Sanchez, Norris, Hoffman, and Osuna are extremely tradeable as long it's for SP
  14. Really hope we don't trade away anyone notable (except Navarro) for Bullpen help unless it's for Chapman.
  15. If Travis continues to play well after coming back from injury, he's gotta be for real.
  16. Are you kidding me? Moving from the NL to the AL East has got to be the worst thing you can do for yourself as a pitcher. 1) Beastly DH's instead of the pitcher spot. 2) A lot of NL parks are pitcher friendly parks, all of the AL East are launchpads. 3) Bluejays, Yanks, and Orioles are pretty much top 5 in every offensive category. 4) With the exception of the Rays, all the AL teams are offence first and play for the big inning. I think the negative effect of moving to the AL East is underrated if anything.
