Stroman is a douchebag, who literally manipulates the s*** out of some of the fan base to make you love him. He's an easy guy to cheer against now, and I'm looking forward to the future.

You sound like you should be one of those "casual fans" on Facebook bitching about this trade because a rebuilding team traded their top SP. Do you honestly think Stroman was going to resign in Toronto, instead of a place like New York? With the Yanks? Let's be honest, Toronto isn't going to be competing to win the division in 2021. Mark my words. In 2 years. Marcus Stroman will be pitching for either the Yanks, RedSox, Braves, or Dodgers. He will sign with a contender. I personally don't buy into the "loyalty" crap he spews on Social Media. Do I absolutely love the return? No. Am I okay with the trade? Yes.

This is exactly why I'm happy he's gone, dude is an entitled little bitch. He portrays himself as this underdog who has the world against him, so for whatever reason people give him a free pass. Anyone can go on Twitter and BS about how much they love Toronto, and maybe he did. But like I said, he has a lot of you fooled as the "good guy" throughout all of this.

I can't see the Rays getting much of a better return for Sogard, even if we don't know the players we recieved. That doesn't make sense, but I'll stick with it.

I'm actually curious as to if you know how a rebuild works? You seem to bitch as if a complete rebuild should take 3-4 years.

There's definitely better guys on here to answer that question. But a couple things that stand out there to me. Vladdy and Biggio are no longer prospects. The Jays farm system is quite deep, compared to a lot of teams. Again, I'm not the most knowledgeable about our prospects compared to some but that's what first comes to mind.

I was using a bit of sarcasm there. I am excited about SWR though, I think long-term there is a possibility we will be happy with this deal. The sky isn't falling, although a couple days ago we expected more.

I am excited about Woods-Richardson, I must admit. From what I've read, and what Mets fans are saying about the deal. Can't wait to look back on this deal and see Shatkins was brilliant.
