    By no means was that a standard fly ball to McKinney but the OF defense is such a weak spot on this team. Seems like LF particularly has been a black hole defensively for years.

    I wasn't referencing his career, merely this season. Giving up 4+ runs in 5 of 6 starts he's been anything but one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. Sure, the talent is there to be one of the best. I'm not arguing that. Being consistent is a big part of being a great pitcher and Thor is far from that right now.

    Syndergaard has been trash this season, just throwing meatballs up there constantly. So much talent but just can't put it together.

    If there's one thing Montoyo has shown so far is that he's not afraid to switch the lineup around, feels like it's been different everyday this season. I'm not disagreeing with anyone saying it's a bad decision because I agree with that sentiment. I'm not surprised by it though. If it somehow lasts longer than a week or two then I might start being concerned about it.

    It's his first game, I don't see him being in the 5 hole long. I'm sure he'll be 2nd or 3rd within a week or two assuming Vlad does Vlad things.

    Tim Anderson beaned after bat flipping in previous at bat and gets ejected with Brad Keller. If you have a problem with a guy celebrating his homer maybe pitch better. Joe West is a clown for ejecting Anderson too.

    This team is so completely and utterly inept at even the basic fundamentals of the game. They seem totally disinterested in even being on the field sometimes, it's just gross.

    The most Bluejays thing ever, load the bases with 0 outs and score no runs. Not really a surprise lol At least Bauer has thrown 57 pitches through 3 innnings.

    My guess is the Jays won't be smart enough to do this kind of deal, they'll manipulate service time and then Vlad will come up and be dominant and they'll need to pay him at least double or triple what Eloy just got in a few years. It's the most Bluejays thing to do. Wait too long and get taken to the wood shed.

    I don't expect anything to happen because this team consistently hangs on to players long enough for their value to completely dry up. Not saying Stroman has much value at the moment but if he starts the season remotely well I hope they move him. He just doesn't seem like the best guy to keep around for the new group of young guys.

    Naturally Stroman looks like hot garbage in his first start. I hope he starts the regular season decent so they can trade him.

    Keith Law released his top 50 prospects, has Tatis over Vlad at number 1.

    He's definitely not the best prospect of all time, that easily goes to A-Rod or Griffey Jr. I would say. Possibly the best bat of all time like others have said though. All I care about is that Vladdy can crush because I have him in my fantasy keeper league lol
