    He's probably my fave piece they got in the return but they definitely didn't get that one blue chipper or stud in return for Bauer like many thought they might. It just feels like an underwhelming return for a guy like Bauer who strikes out a lot of guys and obviously has that ace upside that he showed last year.

    This return for Cleveland is a bit underwhelming imo. Allen is a fringe top 100 guy, Puig is a headcase & Franmil is all power and nothing else. Makes the Jays return on Stroman look fine to me but I was always ok with it because I'm just happy to be done with his side show in general.

    Just the nature of most fans, over reaction to everything after it happens. Give the prospects time to develop, Kay less so but SWR has some really nice upside and by the time this team is supposedly going to be competitive he should be ready to step in assuming he continues to progress well. I do love reading through all the "This deal is s***" comments though, good for a laugh from all the great armchair GM's on this board lol.

    Honestly enjoyed him at his best but all the antics had grown old in my eyes. Wish him success but LOL Mets.... poor guy. Personally looking forward to watching Bichette with Vlad/Biggio/Gurriel/Jansen etc. in that lineup for the rest of the year now.

    I'm gonna withhold judgement for a year or 2 until Woods-Richardson develops a bit more, kid has some serious juice behind his fastball and should easily start jumping up the top 100 rankings imo. I never got the point of s***ing all over something when prospects are involved, let them develop and see what happens. This team wasn't gonna be close to contention for at least 2 more years anyways.

    I love EE as much as the next Jays fan but give your head a shake, do you really think he would keep us out of 4th in the division? The answer is no, this team has way more problems than some homers & RBI's are gonna solve. The man is 36 years old, he's not gonna bring us back to contention, get over it.

    I'd rather move him for some good pieces than sign him to an extension. The Jays likely won't be in contention for at least 3-5 more years imo. I don't like the idea of extending a guy who will be near the end of a supposed extension by the time this team is competitive again. Take the best deal, add a few solid prospects and spend that money elsewhere when the time is right. If this team was gonna be ready to compete next season or even the season after that I would probably be more in favor but I just can't see a realistic situation where we can hang with the Yankees,BoSox,Rays of the division in the next 2 years.

    This has to be the most unwatchable 25 man group assembled in Jays history. All I wanna see is the young kids do decently and continue to get better and hopefully we end up with a top 5 pick in next years draft. If/when they move out Stroman/Smoak etc. I hope they hit a couple of HR's on the returns. Eric Sogard has the highest batting average in the lineup today by a lot... that's just depressing lol

    I don't know the numbers but I would bet a fair number of teams. Gotta be so disheartening as a Rays player to draw so few no matter how good you play.

    This team feels so hopeless, they can't do anything well or even f***ing average. Terrible approaches at the plate, awful defense, no pitching, this season can't end fast enough.

    I know the stadium is a s*** hole but my god the outfield defense has been completely awful all season long. A little hustle after the ball drops in would have been nice there from Grichuk.

    If they can make it above a 4th place finish in the division in the next 2 years I'd be impressed. This team has a long long way to go yet.

    Buck has called Oracle park Oriole park at least 3 times already, he's so drunk.

    Kid hasn't even had 100 MLB AB's, not remotely concerned yet. He might need another stint in AAA like Mike Trout did once upon a time, time will tell. He'll figure it out eventually, I'm 100% confident in that.

    While I agree the umpire has been especially bad tonight this team is still an offensive black hole and a couple of calls here and there don't mean much when you regularly have no hits through 4 or 5 innings.
