    Odorizzi was a five and dive guy last year. Don’t get the big deal. If he signs for under 50m is the draft pick still forfeited?

    You can sign a solid free agent at the same position without giving up a pick It’s a different situation for cole/Strasburg than it is for odorizzi for me

    Sure. I don’t see that happening though. Someone will go 15 aav though 1. I like this teams drafting record so I want pick 40 2. I want the bonus pool money for pick 40 to be creative in draft/signings 3. I want the 500k in international money 4. It won’t surprise me when Some pitchers without draft pick compensation outperform odorizzi. I don’t think he is leaps and bounds ahead of some of the other ones
