    I wouldn't give Walker too much credit. Sanchez and Stroman are prime arms. Failures of Cecil as a starter, Romero eventually, Morrow loom the largest on his resume. Drabek also failed under his watch. He has done well since 2015 onwards but a lot of big arms failed under his watch.

    Xfip is the worst possible metric to judge pitching performance because it assumes all fly balls are equal That is virtually saying that it is irrelevant how hard the ball is hit. The only thing that matters is whether the ball is hit or not. Anyone who uses it reeks of a lack of education and real world experience

    Scariest part in all this Cecil walked Chris Davis in the wild card game. Walked odor in 4 pitches in game 2. I have no confidence in him whatsoever. It wasn't even a competitive walk
