    lol No offense is going to consistently put up the performance that they had in the first half of the month. Even the 2015 team didn't do that. The entire reason this is happening despite the hot streak is because of constantly blowing games before the All Star Break.

    They do have good starting pitching overall, but you can't expect quality starts literally every time out like they were getting in the first half of the month. Again, it's the non-Cimber/Richards/Mayza/Romano contingent in the bullpen that is allowing the game to be blown open or blowing a lead.

    The problem is they have a great core of young position players (with more in the farm), but because they prioritized that, they're lacking pitching.

    I mean part of it was the sticky stuff crackdown that was essentially unpredictable from the beginning of the season.

    It's pretty obvious that regardless of what people argue has gone wrong or right for the team this year, the bullpen is a weakness depth wise that needs to be addressed. Doesn't help that we had like 4 straight DFAs from it via pitchers that f***ing sucked every outing.
