    That was a different era. TV money now has predicted where majority of top free agents go. Jays tv money is peanuts compared to top 6-8 clubs

    After 21 years of not even being in pennant race no doubt many are beyond upset. But I only had Jays pegged between 83 to 85 wins coming out of spring training.

    They paid a lot for Drabek. He was the backbone of Halladay trade. I imagine he will be given exact opportunity to make majors. Even if in bullpen

    When we acquired Rasmus he was a highly sought after commodity. I highly doubt he has zero value now!!

    I believe it when I see it in majors. Especially at catcher. About 3 years ago I remember Keith Law calling TDA best catching prospect in baseball. I remember him saying he so far ahead there isn't even a distant 2nd best catcher prospect. Arencibia when he first came up hit a homerun first game was going to be good power catcher. Then we had 2 others who were projected future MLBers. One went in Happ trade, the other, Jiminez still toiling in minors. Out of the 4 future projected major leaguers, Arencibia flopped, TDA is scuffling, the other 2 look like fringe players at best. Ironically, the only catching prospect we had at the time to make much of himself, was Gomes. But he wasn't projected to be much of a major leaguer

    I would try Reyes on waivers? He will make 22 million next 4 years. Or 3 years at 22 plus a 4 million buyout. He's only a 1.8 WAR.
