  1. If that happens, the front office should fire JS and DFA Little at the same time.
  2. Did Manfred wire JS $20,000,000 to throw the game? Because there was no other logical reason for that move.
  3. He could pan out like Roberto Osuna. Dude's a K machine
  4. The front office should give a guy like Javen Coleman a chance to make the team out of spring training next year. He would probably be our best LHP out of the pen compared to anyone we have now.
  5. Both their starting staff and offence are objectively inferior to New York's, they're up 2-0 only because the Jays have allowed it.
  6. You can't even give Seattle much credit since they're playing a highly uncompetitive team atm.
  7. Understatement of the century The Jays could've had prime Halladay pitching a complete game with only two ERs last night, and still lose.
  8. Is this really the same team that chased the Yankees best starters out of the game before the 4th inning? They must be dealing with a bout of imposter syndrome right now. 🤷‍♂️
  9. I just think it's dumb all around to be messing with the defensive chemistry of an elite defensive team. If you have to sacrifice a little on offense (at least on paper) to prevent as many runs as possible, then sobeit.
  10. Prioritizing ballpark dimensions over athleticism is some weird logic.
  11. Is there any particular reason why JS would put him there instead of LF? I assumed it was common sense to have your best defenders in CF/RF (of which the Jays have plenty).
  12. I'd rather the team keep their defensive supremacy intact even if it means sacrificing a little on offense.
  13. He might not always wear #39, I'd wait until next season.
  14. The fact that he's getting the ball out of the infield is good enough for me.
  15. 27 years to the day after Doc made his home debut.
  16. How about an infield dribbler instead?
  17. Didn't one of their best hitters just come back from the IL?
  18. If only the team shared your desperation.
  19. But only twice per game, iirc? Considering how many botched calls umpires make, that doesn't seem like enough.
  20. Not if that person's name is Ty France.
