  1. It's the Blue Jays, so probably after the trade deadline.
  2. Cecil blows. Guy just throws balls in the dirt and hopes they chase. Can we please get a f***ing closer?
  3. Get a f***ing closer! How many more times do we have to see this s*** happen?
  4. Nice win. 14 in a row...oh wait
  5. Navarro is clutch.
  6. Teams w/ talent-Impact difference between a good and bad manager is very little. Teams w/ average talent-Impact difference is the most noticeable here between a good and bad manager. Teams w/ little to no talent-Impact difference between a good and bad manager is very little.
  7. Chemistry in baseball is pretty irrelevant, the only real chemistry that exists is between the catcher and pitcher. This isn't like Hockey, Soccer, or Basketball where chemistry is important.
  8. She's been there for as long as I can remember. She used to sit with an older guy, I believe her husband. Haven't seen him for over 3 years, though...
  9. Eric Hinske rookie card (not signed)
  10. He isn't Canadian, so the Jays don't need him. Sign Rheal Cormier, Eric Gagne, and Jason Dickson! Trade the current bullpen for cash. After nobody wants them, just release em. Bullpen of Albers, Francis, Cormier, Dickson, Gagne. Closer by committee obviously. Also, could use Quantrill as player/coach.
  11. Don't get how Francis still has a job. Probably so AA could set the record for most Canadians on a ML team.
  12. Was surprised he wasn't higher on prospect lists because he had solid minor league numbers.
  13. Poverty bullpen=poverty results. Everyone knew bullpen was an issue coming into the season and we all waited for it to be addressed. AA's solution was to put in 2 guys in the pen that should be in the minors as starters.
  14. Guy's a spare. Nothing to see here, move along. Just glad the Jays aren't holding onto players because they are "character" or "classy" guys.
  15. Pretty sad the Jays couldn't make the playoffs at least once with 2 of the best hitters in all of baseball. Both of which had below market value contracts.
  16. 85 Wins maybe with Stroman, 81-82 without him now. This team could have been good, but AA neglected to address obvious needs.
  17. You must be a new fan or have a bad memory. The jays have had injury problems ever since the JP era. I'm not talking about freak injuries like those of Stroman and Saunders. How many times has a guy come back from injury then re-aggregated the injury in the recovery stage and missed even more time? Poulis and AA are both Greek, only reason why he's still around. (Not Srs)
  18. I know injuries are part of baseball, but the Blue Jays seem to have a lot of injuries. Starting to think the Jays' training staff has no idea what they're doing. Time to get rid of Poulis he has been here for as long as I can remember. http://i62.tinypic.com/177036.jpg http://i59.tinypic.com/30aax37.jpg
  19. We basically needed everyone to stay healthy and perform as expected to make playoffs because of the lack of depth. This puts the nail in the coffin. http://i61.tinypic.com/bfmm9i.jpg
  20. I have no problem with Norris' lifestyle, but I do when you're a pro ball player. The Jays have invested money in this kid and it seems like the guy could do a better job taking care of himself. Sleeping in less than ideal conditions can't be good for the body in the long term, especially someone that already had shoulder issues. Also, how does he train, watch his nutrition, etc in the off-season? It seems Norris wants to be different just for the sake of being different.
  21. Sanchez should have been traded this off-season when his value was at a high.
  22. One ugly lineup. Navarro at DH is a joke. Pillar, Izturis, Pompey are below average at their position on offense. Martin, from an offensive standpoint, could put up a dud line like he has many times in his career.
