    Fisher needs more playing time to find his bat, probably not happening this year unless Teo is out for an extended period. His ability to get on base already puts him ahead of Alford I think.

    16 expanded playoff format and the Angels still can’t put together a competitive team for Trout. Just really sad to see his career wasted. They’ll likely keep the expanded format to 12-14 teams in the next CBA as 16 is kinda too much. Hopefully Trout gets a few chances before his career is done.

    Rowdy makes the routine plays at first, that’s all you can really ask from your bat-first power hitting first baseman. It’s unrealistic to ask Rowdy to be Goldschmidt or Freeman. Rowdy also has been playing first base in the minors since 2013. Vladdy started in July, fans need to understand it will take some time.

    It’s okay to have controversial and unpopular opinions. It’s also okay to be half glass empty and reek pessimism. We’ve had a couple posters like that over the years. He’s just choosing to be THAT guy without backing it up with sound arguments AND while being a complete dick about it. Deadpool is right, it’s basically your typical sportsnet comment section type posts. I do get where he’s coming from, I was one of the first to drive the Clevinger bus and hoping the Jays make big splashes at the trade deadline. They didn’t do it, but still had the second biggest haul at the deadline. The team can be frustrating to watch, but it’s also some of the most entertaining baseball this team has played since 2016. They’re making mistakes left and right yet somehow keeps it close every game.

    Blue Jays are 15-7 in their last 22 games Currently holding second place in the AL East, heading home to face the Yankees. They’re currently the 6th seed with HOU 0.5 GB and NYY 1 GB. Bo Bichette & Ken Giles are on schedule to return late next week. Pearson also moved from long distance throws to throwing BP.
