  1. What’s happening.. everything’s happening.
  2. My boy Vizcaino going to the cubs, that probably helps his chances in the rotation and a rebuild situation. With Alcantara that’s quite a haul for the Cubs.
  3. It’s possible Suggs would be taken before #4, I’m sure they have things mapped out. I’m hopeful Green will fall, but unlikely. Not too high on Mobley. I watched and rooted for Bosh for years, it’s not the best formula to bank your playoff hopes on a bigman that’s not a generational level talent. At least for an uber athletic scoring wing player you can kinda dream on it
  4. I mean.. that’s not a very high bar to clear. Kirby Snead is probably better than Trent at this point.
  5. Robbie Ray was pitching a 1-4 record, 7.84 ERA, 7.29 FIP and 9.00 BB/9 when Toronto acquired him. He was so bad the DBacks threw in 300k in the trade and we only gave up Travis Bergen. Then Bergen was DFA’d by ARI in Feb.
  6. You don’t like Suggs?
  7. This is what it looks like when a GM actually means it when they want to win now and gunning for the pennant in a tough division, not just content chasing the 2nd wild card.
  8. Give me this over Dolis
  9. Hand will be throwing to Reese McGuire, Tabby will have a field day.
  10. Keep in mind Robbie Ray didn’t look good either before we acquired him, things can change. Hand has some pedigree.
  11. Cleveland put him on waivers last year just so someone else would pickup that contract. Teams could’ve had him for just cash. But Hand was really good 2-3 years ago and he hopefully bumps Dolis down in the BP order, the price wasn’t too steep. I’m just a tad surprised we got a rental when they’re probably looking for long term solutions. Rays and Yankees made notable improvements while we continue to make incremental ones. There’s still time before the deadline, there will probably be more moves to come.
  12. Adams wasn’t going to get any real playing time here with Kirk, Moreno, Jansen, and McGuire. Pearson might not be happy with this though given the two were pretty close. It’s probably good for both sides as Adams will have a chance to earn a big league spot with the Nats. Their system is pretty bad even with the emergence of Cavalli and drafting House.
  13. He’s been really good in the past, Pete magic time.
  14. Masai will draft a stud, book it.
  15. I personally don’t think Groshans was involved in the package. The org is really high on him and they still believe in him as a top prospect. Yankees gave up quantity here without really touching their top guys (Dominguez, Garcia, Schmidt, Gil, Peraza, Volpe) Texas was rumored to really want one or our catching prospects last trade deadline and we had a bit of an abundance before the injury bug.
