Melky and Kawasaki are the only position players I have been able to cheer for lately and even Melky kind of blew that one game not fielding a ball properly (though he also made an amazing catch).
I would imagine Gillespie's numbers are better than Rasmus who holds a .640 OPS vs lefties the last 3 years, not including Gillespie's major league splits which are too small a sample.
I don't blame John at all for this, he's trying to MacGyver a team that can score runs with the junk he has been handed (the platoons make sense on paper). This is all AA's fault, if he doesn't make some moves soon this season will be on him.
AA keeps pulling the same s*** trick out his bags - calling up players who are succeeding statistically in small sample sizes at the minor league level... this formula is pure newbie
My beef is with all the troll usernames and avatars, especially from members who are not really trolls (some are even quality posters)... my eye flags the name as a "troll" before I even read their posts... I have to question these members, why do you go with a seemingly troll alias (and avatars)? You know who you are.
