I personally believe Dickey is pencilled in. If we are up 2-1 he pitches, if we are down 2-1 and Price holds them in check on Game 1, then I fully expect Price to be pitching on short rest in a do or die game and Stroman on regular rest for Game 5. They didn't get Price for a 1 and done post season appearance.

They went full on digital tickets this year, I believe only season ticket holders use to get stubs for the past couple years and I believe now they have a card? could be wrong Essentially teams want your personal info, digitally. They want to track what you buy, when you buy it, and how much you spend so they can send you emails to buy more merchandise and optimize their advertisements to you. That's really it, your personal info is vastly more important to them for sale strategies.

I read a couple days ago that MLB & umpires decide if a roof should be open or closed during postseason, not the home team. They do consider how the home team used the roof throughout the season though. There is no guarantee the roof is closed with Dickey pitching. -

With a day off between games 2 & 3, the Dickey effect would be negligible. -

It's because Fox Sports owns the rights and decides the times. Canadian viewership yields no benefit to them from an advertising perspective, so we get shafted. It's common for the lowest expected ratings to have the worst time slot, yes.

This. There was a time when you lined up at a ticket master outlet, often in a mall or at the box office to buy tickets. Earlier you line up, better odds of getting great seats. Now it's a mess, really. It's a giant crapshoot because someon e who literally has never seen a baseball game in their life, gets lucky and scores tickets in their dirty pjs, uses their credit card, buys for face value and resells for 3-4x more as a f***ing side job for income.

It bothers me that practically half the tickets purchased were done with the intention to resell them.. I know that's the way it works by selling strips and really in general these days, but what a horseshit system we've created for ourselves.
