Why only Ortiz?... How about Adrian Beltre, Nelson Cruz, Victor Martinez, Pujols, Beltran... None of these guys are 'below replacement players'..
And what does sign Bautista because of the franchise value mean? lol
If you love RBI Baseball NES and play roms, check out http://www.rbibaseball.us/
Each spring he updates the rosters, the Jays team is stacked based on last year's offense lol.
lol this is how I'd probably look and then pass out after 30 swings

It's hard to find good public batting cages, indoor ones up here are generally for the elite athletes that have memberships. I always used Bloomington Downs cages growing up, a golf course in Aurora.
It was at Darien Lake. I played ball from when I was 5-23 (hardball for about 15 years) but it's been 10 years since I've picked up a bat. It felt especially good when the guy in front of me didn't make contact haha. I really need to get back in shape and play again.
Learn to read, I didn't think that's what you meant at all. It was the 7th inning (maybe 8th) when you said Boston had lost the game... the game wasn't over.
You were saying how Boston is now down 0-1 and we're up 1-0 (in hindsight we are now)... but the game wasn't close to being over at the time. That never goes over well here in any GDT. There's been warnings not to say that stuff for a few weeks.
fwiw - I don't think anything was banworthy of your posts but I don't know about your first account.
I don't know the exact reason, probably for making a second account. Regardless this was a stupid post... Don't chime in that games are over in the 7th(ish) inning. That's not how baseball works.
Disgraceful is a bit over the top but yea mid-week promotions you'd think would be a no-brainer. Shapiro just fixing Beeston's laziness.
You have to give them credit though, their marketing team did a Grade A job rebranding the team with an awesome logo just prior to the Dickey/Marlins trades and created a ton of buzz in the city. Probably every other household owns at least a hat or a shirt because of it. I see more Blue Jays merchandise on the street today and in stores than ever before.
