  1. If he was pitching a no-hitter he wouldn't be at 104 pitches.
  2. Joba looks like he belongs at a grand prix wrestling event
  3. Both pitchers have an almost identical boxscore. Watching the game though, Sanchez looks a little better.
  4. I don't really like the idea of Francisco and Navarro back to back in the lineup. Double play waiting to happen.
  5. My wife's comment on the Dickey commercial: "the worst thing about it is that Dickey is actually a better actor than those other two idiots".
  6. Need to get to Sanchez early. Hopefully they are selective and run up the counts, Detroit's bullpen is almost as bad as ours.
  7. I like this. He might be worth something in a trade... if he starts again, good chance he gets hammered.
  8. Im tempted to mute the telecast and just listen to benny hill music for the rest game
  9. I sure wasn't complaining about winning back to back world series. By 1996, they were still relying on a few aging vets from their series run, but had Green, Stewart, Delgado and Gonzalez on their roster. They had good young talent through much of the 1990's and 2000's but simply didn't manage them effectively. A good example of this is Chris Carpenter who struggled in his last season with the Jays so they released him... 2 years later he wins the Cy Young.
  10. That pitch was in virtually the same spot, maybe even a little closer to the zone
