They even have similar builds, both power hitters, born in the same country and are 4 years apart. Pretty uncanny parallels. Blue Jays would look really good in a few years if he matured the same way Edwin did.
Oh and yes: back in 2010-11 I could not believe that we didn't have the brains to DFA a 3B playing bad D, hitting poorly and showing no hustle.... boy was I f***ing wrong. Lesson was learned though, now I tend to want to give people a chance. I could stand to keep Juan a bit longer, but a few others have worn out their welcome (Rasmus im looking at you)
