If I knew a guy had gotten a huge contract in part because of his ability to fool umpires... I would be pretty unforgiving as an umpire.

With all the attention framing has been getting, if I were an ump, I would find out who has been doing all the framing and then be miserly with the strike calls... but that is just me.

I take it Francis has options? Cant see them bringing up Delabar only to DFA him when Saunders comes up. -
Batters would definitely need to be more aggressive. I agree that scoring would probably be impacted.

How do we not stick with hendricks? He is been legit this year so far.

Jimenez and Archer have been lights out so far this year. I dont think you can blame the offense in a game where you need the pitching to step up.

We sit second in the majors with 62 runs scored and only 2 runs behind KC... offense is not the problem.

We have scored 62 runs this season, 2nd in the majors. It could be argued that things just havent worked out for the Jays when it comes to winning games... or we could say our 51 runs against (9th worst) is the problem. 1/2 of our loses can be directly attributed to the bullpen, that is too many.

You might be on to something. How can you have a pitching coach that doesn't know how to throw a curveball?
