    Platoons are never ideal over one player who can play everyday at the position. Last 3 years of Reddick gets you this vs Lhp 202ave, 265 obp, 534ops\ Rhp 249 Ave, 305 obp, 714 ops Total 258ave, 313 obp, 734 ops for 12 - 17 mil and I need a platoon partner to play and pay to boot. Angel pagen might cost less and has a better fielding percentage in all fields career wise and is a switch hitter who has stolen 43 bases over the last 3 years. Doesn't need a platoon partner, ya dig? Last 3 years vs Lhp 275ave, 311obp, 689ops / Rhp 279ave, 330 obp, 709 ops total 278ave, 324 obp, 702ops

    Beyond Briken is the qualifying system, it is f***ed up completely !!! Take in case like Saunders everyone knows he is not worth 17 mill more should he ever be offered that? So who does the qualifying offer help really? I am not sure But the one with cespedes I believe it was should not be allowed at all... A mutual opt out clause, that if he took or accepted which would have paid him 23 mill should not allow the team to qualify him at 17 mill and get a pick attached to him and the team a draft pick! That's crazy if allowed by MLB and its rules!
