    Not sure I agree on the more stress debate! As short quick bust movements and shorter throws verses longer run and longer throws would both be equally as stressful or balance out. Think they use require and use different muscle fiber make up as fast twitch vs slow twitch ! Some people get injuries as a result of genetics! Bautista had less issues at third just saying!

    Does Gose's bat play in right field for you? Cause that's were it might be! Especially if we get no upgrades to 2nd or 3rd this off season and I really believe Bautista might start at third!

    if you do those trades right and grab a couple arms too you would not need dickey or buehrle's innings! We would more then 8 arms as starter types, go to 4 man rotation a super piggy back system! Each would make 20.25 starts x 5-6 innings a start. And relief of 2-3 innings ! Flip every 5 starts or every other I don't care! If I do the math right this could mean innings could fall in the 143-183 range for the season, use a 3 or 4 man pen.If the young arms start you can fill the pen with Delbar Loup Cecil and Graveman and still have Redman and Happ or trade them!

    So once you have been you receive a Q.O you can not sign a long term deal or be traded? Think you are missing the point. Is there a rule that doesn't allow such a transaction to be made? I they are both going to be free agents! Thanks tips! Lol

    So could we do a trade even though he has been qualified and gain the week to talk to him and his agent and sign him? Say Dickey and his platoon partner, Melkey to balance out draft picks in case neither player signs with thier new teams. And we get Martin and tony Watson Can such a deal be done? Does anybody know the answer?

    No one answered this yet for me can you do a trade and sign deal and not have to give up a pick? Or trade Melkey so they still get a pick if we have no intentions to sign him?

    Because it would likely signal the end to the Dickey Thole platoon! Plus Navarro on the bench would be a huge upgrade over Thole any day.

    Just read on mlbtraderumours that the jays have discussed Martin do you see if they would trade him to us for Happ and Thole or Dickey and Thole ? Provide he signs with us first!

    Would Happ and Reyes and throw in izturis,plus two of either a Nolin,Norris,Drabek,Jenkins,Estrada or Romero (Dream on) be enough for the Angels to part with aybar and Kendrick. Would it require money as well, how much? Or would it require a Sanchez or Stroman if no money is included? Do you do it? Would they?
