  1. Thats pretty cool. Only 4 guys have done it on a par 72 I think.
  2. You are going to have to eat Smoak's entire contract though. So the price of an upgrade from Smoak to Carter is closer to $10 Million (thats just this year, not including next). And considering you lose the platoon advantage I'd be the upgrade is less than half a win. Not worth it at all.
  3. Jose signed autographs for the fans at the winter tour too. Nice touch
  4. Anyone ever find it curious how we never heard about NBA players and PEDs?
  5. He seems like a massive Dbag away from the court too.
  6. Pentecost is basically a sunk cost. One of those prospects who busted from injuries right from the beginning.
  7. Ah I see. I thought it was like the video games where its NHL 17 etc..
  8. why the hell are they selling "18" in the year 2017.
  9. Yeah he thought he was the second coming of Barry Bonds. Hilarious to think back.
  10. I remember David Eckstein trying to play SS in 2008. Guy couldn't even throw to 1st base. 40 Arm playing SS.
  11. He's a fantastic player no doubt but like Derozan he always takes about 4-5 bad shots a game. Even when Durant was there it was the same.
  12. I'd take Giannis over Westbrook for sure and likely over Curry and Harden too but it'd be a lot closer. Lebron, Durant and Kawhi are my top 3 if you expanded it to all positions.
  13. Given he's a switch hitter I'd go with Morales.
  14. Perhaps just the Canada Day game or its a ploy to get people to buy the jerseys. If fans don't like them, I doubt they would continue with it.
  15. Agree. I think he represents a portion of the executives that put too much stock into what a player is at that moment and not what they can become (which is weird because he's a scouting guy). Very rarely will players be able to get by without making adjustments. Donaldson, Bautista and Edwin all had bad swings and made adjustments. Besides the numbers Tellez has a fantastic work ethic by the sound of it which can be the difference.
  16. Its not even just the fans.. I watched TNT last night and Chuck had Kyrie #15 and the panel was ridiculing him it saying how he should be top 10. They were talking about PG and Lowry's name wasn't even mentioned.
  17. Lol didn't Law say he would only give Bautista 2/24 in the offseason?
  18. How well run the leagues are. I think I'd rank them that way in personal preference as well in terms of entertainment. Blue Jays are my favouite team by far and I enjoy the MLB year round the most but if you were to ask me to watch only 1 game in each of the leagues I'd choose a GSW/CLE game first.
  19. Good article on Pearce and how the high performance dept. is introducing a new workout strategy. While injuries have a degree of luck involved there is a lot than can be done the way you train. Soft tissue injuries especially http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/blue-jays-steve-pearce-feels-ahead-game-rehab/
  20. Moss being LH gives him the edge for me.
  21. Yeah forgot about him. There's a good foundation there.
  22. I don't think he's enough of an upgrade considering he'd be playing vs RHP. wRC+ of 109 in his career vs Smoak's 100. Carter isn't good defensively either and given you would be paying close to $10M for the upgrade it doesn't seem to be worth it. Rather get a LF or put the $ to bullpen/backup C.
  23. Girl from Highschool, not in highschool lol. She was in her early 20s.
