    Francisco will not be back next year. He's had like 5 PA in the last month, so that tells you how much the coaching staff thinks of him.

    So uh AP is back with the team and going to play Sunday the Vikings announced...This might be the most stupidest decision of the NFL season so far.

    This is usually true in most sports but baseball especially. I don't really blame fans for not going when we have ownership that aren't committed to winning.

    This will not end well. All kidding aside they have a pretty good team except for the QB position, which is the most important.

    Nothing I hate more than this. Sometimes there will be 3 channels all showing the same game. In other news half of the NFL is injured less than an hour into the games.

    Apparently the ratings on TV are through the roof. Almost 900k for the game against the Cubs Wednesday. I think the fact that it isn't summer anymore has hurt the attendance.

    As a Colts fan I really like the offensive players this week. PHI with the fast paced offence will give lots more plays for both teams and the Colts skill players usually play really well on turf. It reminds me of the high scoring game against SEA last year.

    You can say that about every team. Are the Angles are where they are without Trout? Are the Blue Jays are where they are without Bautista? Of course not.

    Theres a lot of bias in what you just wrote. You could say this about the Blue Jays: They have 3 major holes in their starting lineup CF, LF, 2B and it looks like one of those positions could be filled internally. Jose, Edwin and Reyes are all only going to decline and Reyes has one of the worst contracts in baseball. While they have some good pitching prospects, all it takes is one pitch to get injured and pitching can turn bad in a hurry. They have ownership that looks like they don't want to spend and management that doesn't know how to build a true contender. Mix that with the inability to attract free agents and their future looks iffy. Now I like the Blue Jays chances next year if they can pull off a few moves in the offseason but you are selling the Red Sox as some s***** baseball club when they have one of the best prospect pools in the majors and the ability to spend a lot of money.

    Cleveland is going to need as much of a miracle as the jays are. Indians probably arent going to win 11-12 games ROS.

    Rasmus isn't going to sign a deal to be a platoon in LF next year. He probably wants to start fresh anyways considering how bad this season has been.

    He could have more of a reason if the child was 10 but a 4 year old doesn't know any better. How many people even remember anything when they were 4 years old? I doubt AP was just "disciplining" his child, To me it sounds like he was angry about what the kid did and used his anger with the switch when hitting the child which is completely wrong. I think Jail time should be considered.

    Why would the rest of the season be too harsh? He left visible injury to a 4 year old and seems like he enjoys hitting his kids. Do you think that deserves only 6 games? Take away the thing AP loves the most, the sport of football.

    Like other people have said a spanking is not what AP did. He was stuffing leaves into the 4 year old child's mouth and leaving visible injuries. The child obviously suffered mentally as well because he was scared his dad would "punch him in the face" if he told the cops. A 4 year old child doesn't even have the intellectual ability to understand what is going on in a situation like that. AP is a sick f*** and deserves to go to jail.

    I can see Peterson never being allowed back into the league. Hitting a child might be the crime you can commit. Teams will be scared about the public's perception even though he is a star player. Sick f*** deserves 5 years in prison.

    He has to be suspended for the rest of the season for this, no? Hell, there should be jail time of at least a year min.

    Jimenez is advanced all the way to AAA and looks to be a MLB backup catcher at worst if his arm is healthy. I would take that certainty over Jansen and certainly Nessy.
