  1. 95wRC+ with his defence is a very good player. Hes worth 15-20 million per season
  2. Id rather they just shut Sanchez down for the rest of the season. All of this work in the bullpen seems like it could damage his arm in the longrun.
  3. Also played in an extreme pitcher's park and division Colorado not included.
  4. Yup. Hes above average in the field, well below average baserunner and just pathetic with the bat.
  5. After having a good month to start his season Tollesson has been god awful with the bat since. Shouldn't even have a roster spot.
  6. Then why the hell would you want a player that is going to provide you negative value over a player who would provide positive value? Goins is one of the worst players on the blue Jays.
  7. Im guessing you mean Gose since he actually walks lol
  8. Well it depends on the bat. If Gose puts up a 75wRC+ and Goins has a 50wRC+ and they put up equally as good defence you take Gose. You can't take position bias into making a decision without looking at all the information. Also Gose is the much better baserunner.
  9. I wonder if this is the night Wilner admits the Jays have no chance at a playoff spot.
  10. I think you can hide Gose's bat at the bottom of the lineup. Not Goins though..
  11. That would be the smart thing to do.
  12. No he isn't. He yells things like "GITUP" on every potential HR ball. Hes bearable when the Blue Jays are winning because you are enjoying the team success and tuning him out.
  13. Buck has got so annoying to listen to lately. Just can't stand him
  14. I take everything back about Kawa having strong throws.
  15. This is my opinion but I think they had payroll flexibility on the actual Day of the trade deadline but until then they had zero money. Its really a shame too because if money was available 2 weeks prior this team could have been a lot better.
  16. He actually makes pretty good throws from 3B. He puts his entire body into it but it still gets the job done.
  17. I laughed at this. Sad, but it is true.
  18. Framing is a thing you don't have to pay Free Agent value for though. The contract is still pretty bad.
  19. I think that looks a lot better now than at the time. Francisco went from being a decent platoon 3B to horseshit and Pillar has looked terrible at the plate making it seem like he will never hit MLB pitching. That said, the Blue Jays can make it right by signing Headley this offseason.
  20. So Bob Elliott on PTS said the trade to the Padres was Headley for Francisco, Nolin and Pillar but the Blue Jays wanted SD to pick up salary.
