  1. Defense is still pretty bad. Far too often do guys just get straight blown by for easy layups.
  2. Lol Cavs are beating Hornots 26-6 right now and Lakers are losing to the Pacers 21-4.
  3. Winston has shown that he makes terrible decisions when a defense puts pressure on him. Since FL ST. is so good he has often had so much time where he can sit back and make the throws, but as we saw in games (Florida being the most recent) that his decision making becomes bad and he throws bad passes that turn into picks. Hes going to be facing defenses in the NFL that come up with fancy blitzes and schemes to defeat him and the big question is will he make the adjustments. His release is also a question mark. His behaviour off the field is not as simple as you make it out to be. Who's to say a guy with the trouble he has had making 5 million is going to turn it around. If anything he could turn into Vince Young.
  4. 10 million seems way too much for Anderson. The guy has been a non factor now for 4 seasons. I would of much rather signed Morrow for similar money.
  5. When the majority of your revenue is in Canadian Dollars it is still going to cause you to lose money even if you do hedge..
  6. Have to factor in buyouts for next season, Canadian dollar plummeting will make revenue for the coming season go down at least 5-10%
  7. Sounds about right with the buyouts they have. Should be able to unload Navarro so really its closer to 12 million.
  8. He can be convicted up to 9 years in prison for a felony. I think his NHL career is all but over.
  9. Really? I like Bridgewater but Mariota has all the tools to be successful. He still needs to develop a few things but hes got the size/pocket presence and arm to succeed. The biggest thing for me is will he be able to make the adjustments and read defenses.
  10. Mariota is the better prospect. I would say both are better than anyone from 2013 and 2014 classes but that isn't saying much.
  11. Texas taxes are worth a few million bucks too. I could see him turning down 3/28
  12. He is not the best QB prospect since Luck.
  13. They're valuable but runningbacks that hit the hole with acceleration can succeed with mediocre O-Lines while the HR hitter types rarely do. Also the super speed guys seem to always be hurt in today's NFL and careers are much shorter. Mcfadden, Spiller etc..
  14. 23 million is a lot less than I thought he would get, I will say.
  15. Age, could lose defensive value after leaving Oakland's ballpark with such large foul areas.
  16. You have had great luck with one russian and bad luck with another 2.
  17. Voynov's hearing was today and judging by the evidence doesn't look like he will be in the NHL for much longer.
  18. Acceleration is one of the most important things for runningbacks in the NFL, way more so than speed after 20 yards. Also the guy carried the ball like 25 times a game so he could have been worn down.
  19. After this year the Oilers will be in a great position. If they get Eichel/McDavid they will have so many assets. They could trade one of their forwards for a legit defenceman and actually get a competent goalie.
  20. Hahahaha what a gong show. http://deadspin.com/report-the-kings-are-going-to-try-a-4-on-5-defensive-s-1671301557?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow
  21. Thats why it more Saunders, Smoak, Estrada and Martin +draft pick replacing Melky, Lind and Happ.
  22. For this year: Donaldson Machado Longoria Headley Sandoval Long term flip Machado and Donaldson Edit: f*** it I'd rather have Arod and his remaining contract.
  23. Hes got legit 4.4 speed too. If he can stay healthy he can become a decent pro.
  24. He still needs to be better on the defensive end. Far too often he just gives up blow by drives. Its like he just loses focus sometimes... He has all the tools to be a great defender but for whatever reason still hasn't come close at putting it together. As for the offensive end, coaching staff has done a good job of running plays for his sweet spot. The off ball curl around the screen for that floater has been a pretty good shot for him as well as the usual elevator for 3.
  25. speaking of draft prospects here is a Canadian RB that should be drafted as at least a late round pick next year
