    Whos better? Red Sox also have a ton of depth. Swihart behind Vasquez is probably a better hitter right now. Tons of OF depth etc..

    Good post. Author needs to do a better job with projected lineups though. No mention of Travis and has Navarro as fulltime DH.

    Yeah when I heard that I threw up. Between that and referencing wins every time they mentioned a pitcher I already want them gone. We can all argue if Osuna/Castro deserve to be on the team or not but playing Navarro at DH and Edwin at 1B instead of Smoak at 1B would be making the team a lot worse than the upgrade in the bullpen. Really don't understand the benefit of playing Edwin at 1B. He has injury concerns already and hes terrible defensively.

    I think I'm okay with Castro on the team but I didn't really want Osuna on the team. Osuna could have been that depth in the minors and his value is as a starter.

    Huge difference being one is a pitcher...Guys lose their stuff and its clear Drabek isn't the same he was before.

    I have a hard time seeing that. You can't always just look at projections. Their stuff and command is a lot better.

    Wilner must have forgotten this one thing while comparing players. Zobrist can hit. Goins can not.

    Am I missing something here? Seems to me we need a one inning type because we have too many multi inning guys. Redmond, Estrada and Castro are all guys who can throw 3 innings out of the pen...

    Even if Martin regresses a lot he is still a lot better hitter than Pompey. Honestly I see Pompey being the worst hitter in the lineup with everyone healthy. He is going to strike out quite a bit and I don't know if you want that batting 2nd.

    Yeah you definitely had an outstanding week. Hats off to you. Both our goaltending stats were off the charts which is pretty awesome.

    Norris I think would have the best chance. He is also already a household name down south because of his lifestyle. Also has the most talent of the 4.

    If they use Castro out of the pen kind of simliar to how they used Sanchez last year with not just one inning stints but 2-3 innings at a time with more break days in between he can still use all of his pitches. He definitely looks like one of best pen arms available.

    I gotta hope Talbot has a monster game tomorrow and I have a good +/-. Actually had pretty good numbers this week but Vanland's team was on fire.

    Gotta hope Quick does get the win and lets in more than 3 goals. Then I'll at least have a chance. Otherwise going to need a massive night from my players.

    Edmonton is a pretty terrible franchise... Never guarenteed hes going to be anything, but I really can't see him not being a stud if he stays healthy. Has all the tools and a terrific work ethic and makeup. He's probably one of the fastest players in the game right now even at his age.

    I played with a guy who broke his femur on the ice when he collided with someone at centre ice. Definitely the scariest injury I've seen while playing any sport.

    Bergeron would probably have to be 25 and under. With McDavid you are getting 3 years at min. salary as well. Bergeron is making over 7.5 for the next 4 years and might only be good for another 5. A better trade offer would be Taveras, Strome and Nick Leddy from NYI and even that offer I could see Edmonton saying no to.
