    He's a pretty ruthless person. Not just in hockey but everywhere. Heard a couple bad stories about him.

    Jays players look sore as hell. Almost everyone is jogging around the basepaths and no one is hustling to 1st base on grounders.

    That legitimately wasn't RA's fault. A flyball and 3 soft grounders that are outs a lot of the time score 2 runs.

    Id pay 5 million just to dump Reyes to a different team and get out of that contract. Guy is so bad he can't play SS yet he has no value at other positions.

    You just know Reyes error is going to cost them...

    not a chance. Hes a DH/1B who isn't hitting very well. Might get a GM to give up a bit more because of his past but GMs also see the decline. Moot point because he can veto any trade.

    Edwin with a ton of swing and miss to his game lately. He's in for a big decline.

    I think there's a lot less value for pitchers on long term contracts. Sure all the years of control are nice but its likely he gets hurt/becomes ineffective and those cheap years of control aren't as valuable so more.

    He also left his previous team with the worst long term future in the NHL. I think he's a terrible GM but if he's just the "GM" to talk to the media etc.. and Dubas is running the ship the Leafs will be fine.

    Makes sense for Indians. Carrasco is at peak value and with a guy who has had injury concerns in the past he could blow his arm out and become a negative asset very quickly. I'd be comfortable trading Hoffman, Norris and a lesser prospect for him but I assume it would cost more than that. My guess is they would want Alford in any deal which would be pretty tough to give up if you are already trading your 2 best prospects.

    So what do we think the price is for Samardzja? He would be my favourite target if the cost isn't a Norris or Hoffman. Im not a huge fan of the Padres pitchers.
