    Im not sure the arm would hold up over a full season with his arm action and do you want to take that chance with a guy who's already had TJS? He's an elite reliever might just want to keep him there.

    Ah I see. Your right he doesn't get many swinging strikes but he is elite at getting weak groundballs which on the turf seems to be a large advantage.

    Nice article! One thing I did notice is you didn't include Sanchez in the writeup of the pen. Not sure if it was because of Innings out of the pen but he is another weapon down there that makes them elite!

    Sanchez is a great reliever. Not sure why a couple of posters want to have Mark Lowe pitch instead of him. If the game is at the rogers centre I'd rather have Sanchez pitch in a one or 2 run game. His GBs on the turf and this infield defense are a great match. Now if there are 2 LHH due in the next 3 batters to start the 8th I'd rather have Cecil pitch. I think Lowe is best used if you really need a strikeout in a key situation or in the 7th inning.

    Dickey effect was out in full force tonight. Jays pen has been dominant on days he starts. Thats why I think you give him a playoff start.

    Groundballs in this ballpark and this infield defense is a massive advantage. Its not a coincidence Sanchez has such a low BABIP.

    Every fan will criticize the manager of the team they follow. Managers have to make hundreds of decisions and there are always going to be times you disagree with them. Gibby is an above average manager but certainly not the best.

    Sanchez has a 60% GB rate as a reliever and an under 3 FIP and xFIP. Not sure why you are upset. Lowe gives up a ton of flyballs which isn't great in this ballpark despite the swing and miss.
