Doubt it. Martin has said it takes him about 30-45 minutes to warm up before he can play so he isn't going to go in to a game right off the bench. I think Gibby has said Martin won't be used on off days anyway.

Mentioned this before but Brett Anderson seems like a perfect fit in Toronto. With the turf Toronto should get as many GB guys as they can.

The Blue Jays didn't really need Robertson anyways. The money they would have to pay him would be a waste considering the pen is already stacked. I mean he would be an upgrade obviously but one where the cost isn't worth it IMO.

I think the Indians have to get strikeout pitchers because they know their defense is so bad. I'm interested to see how the Jays look at acquiring pitchers this offseason. With the turf the Jays can finally use their home park as a massive advantage. Jays have a great defense as well so Ks are less important.

I don't see Shapiro getting rid of AA. 2 of the biggest strengths of AA is his contract negations and his willingness to grind down other GMs by asking for trades non stop. In that sense AA is a perfect man for the job. Shapiro will have the final say I would assume so he can approve whether or not he likes what AA is doing. I also don't see AA leaving if he is offerered an extension. It really seems like he loves Toronto and with a young family it would take a hell of a lot from him to move.

I understand. My point was that Jays just have a really likeable team and even if I didn't like the GM I'm not letting that stand in the way of watching games. Like I'm a Senators fan and I absolutely hate ownership and I think the GM has done an awful job but I still cheer for the team. They have some really likeable players so I don't think I couldn't not cheer for them because I hate ownership.

Probably just the timing of it. Also Cleveland hasn't really had much success lately. Be interesting to see what Shapiro does with the RC and the current ticketing structure.
