    If the NBA didn't have max contracts but still had the same team salary cap it has now how much would you be comfortable giving Kawhi to stay? 5/300?

    So far Montoyo has been horrble tactically. Bad lineup configuration, PR decisions, bunting decisions... Bullpen management has been okay. Hopefully he can grow and get smarter for when the team actually gets good.

    Under no circumstances should Lin be given any look. He was horrible in the regular season against terrible teams, would be even worse against the Sixers.

    Does anyone want to co/manage my team? I've been swamped with work and barely have been able to check the site lately (last few months). I'll be fine once May/June rolls around but until then will be more of the same.

    I love this trade for Raps. Gasol stretches the floor and is also a fantastic passer which I think people are forgetting. Also with Ibaka as the backup C Gasol can play less minutes which hopefully helps out his play. At the beginning of the year Gasol was playing like a top 10 player before he slowed down.

    Don't think his contract would go down at all, hes getting a Max no matter what. Hell, he could probably miss the rest of the season and still get the Max from more than half the teams in the NBA.

    Outside Vladdy, Jansen and Stroman the team looks pretty awful tbh.

    Raps Bench looks like grabage. Hardly any movement and a lot of standing around.

    I'm super excited for the season. Everything I've heard from Nurse so far makes me extremely optimistic he will be a very good coach in this league.

    Martin is still a good Catcher though so he loses all his value playing 3rd base. May as well trade him.

    Yeah I have zero faith in this ownership. If you have to have a fall guy just fire Atkins and hire Cherrington to be the GM.

    My best seeing Josh Donaldson IRL moment was at the Innisbrook Golf club at Palm Harbour in 2016 for the Celeb Pro am. He drove the ball probably 350 yards off the tee then threw his club in the air bat flip style smacked his chest and said "Gimme some of dat, Lets Go". He was playing with Graham Delaet and all he did was laugh. He even stood around and signed autographs for everyone afterwards. Another great moment was in Spring Training this year during BP when no hardly any fans were in the stadium and after he hit a HR he yelled "You can putttt it on the boarddddddd, YES" Not sure I've seen someone with as much confidence as him lol.

    If a team could have had him for whatever the remaining salary was on his contract they would just claimed him instead of giving up a prospect worth say $10 Million in value.

    If a team was going to give up a significant prospect they would have just claimed him off waivers.

    Are the Jays going to get anything that's even better than a QO? If no team would pay $4 Million for him then the package they receive should be worth less than $ 4 Million in value you would think.

    May as well keep him and offer him the QO. You probably aren't getting anything in return better than the QO at the point anyway.
