    Obviously, but this notion that he would be on par with Trout if he hit like him is what I took exception to. Trout is basically a league average defender in CF, if you added Trout's bat to Pillars defense you would have a 15+ WAR guy, hence the GOAT label. Edit: I might of misinterpreted a previous post, I thought he was saying if Pillar hit like Trout they would be equal players, which would infer that their defense was on par.

    Trout's defence isn't that spectacular. If pillar hit like him he would instantly be GOAT.
