    In the 70's the media hysteria regarding climate was regarding an incoming new ice age. The climate generally oscillates between ~20 year cycles of rising/falling temperatures, the latest warming cycle ended about a decade ago, the climate has actually been COOLING since then, however wayyyyyy too many people make a living off of the concept for it to ever go away without a fight. AGW is a lucrative religion now, we're stuck with it no matter what.

    I dunno, it's almost feeling like maybe perhaps we should have been looking to sell high on like 3 or 4 guys from our BP over the offseason, seeing as how they are predictably regressing from last season's ridiculously good form? Nah. That would have been stupid. Better to wait until '16, at that point our Competitive Window will have expired and we'll be back to not trying to win again.

    This is the kind of myopic, incompetent long-term planning that comes from having an accountant in a management position. All he can think about is short-term ROI, and even then only purely in monetary terms, which is a self-defeating strategy long-term for any franchise in professional sports if growing the fanbase is a priority. Plus, the guy doesn't seem to be too sharp. Whenever he opens his mouth he belies his own stupidity. Beeston needs to go, like f***ing yesterday already.
