  1. If Houston doesn't shape up soon, there's still the risk they miss the playoffs altogether.. their lead's down to 2, Houston owns the Rangers this season, plus they face the Twins this weekend, who could knock the Astros out of the postseason mix if they sweep..
  2. Like the Jays and Yankees, the O's have a day off tomorrow, so it won't matter how long this goes.
  3. Schoop just tied the game in Baltimore. 6-6 now as Boxberger serves up a HR..
  4. Holy, NY's bullpen is threatening to get Boston back in the game.. 13-8 now.
  5. Amazingly, the Red Sox have slashed the deficit to 13-7 as Bryan Mitchell implodes...
  6. Methinks Ryan Cook will be playing in the minors or indie ball next year.. he can't get MLB hitters out anymore. 11-1 Yanks.
  7. Good god, Cook, can't you throw strikes? Remember how great this guy was with the A's a few years ago?
  8. Can we get to the Jays game already? Yanks are easily going to win this one, as Owens isn't MLB ready and Ryan Cook looks cooked.
  9. Owens looks like he needs more AAA seasoning in 2016. And BTW, he gets the Jays next.
  10. Except for Toronto and Tampa... don't count out the Rays!
  11. 4 runs overall in 1.1 IP. Looks like he's far from MLB ready. Great arm, but needs a lot of refinement.
  12. O's are falling apart on the field and the clubhouse--ask Adam Jones:
  13. After this series, we face an Orioles team, who, like the Tigers, are mailing it in as well, and a Red Sox team that is better, but still looking at an 85-90 loss season. Then the Yankees..
  14. Yanks win.. groan... Sox just couldn't buy a run tonight.
  15. Extra innings! Thank goodness for expanded rosters..
  16. Bryan Shaw now in again.. c'mon EE, end it here!
  17. Thank goodness Osuna got out of it.. those Indians are quite pesky there. And you wonder why the Yanks had so much trouble with them.
  18. Wow. First time Osuna's blown a save in a long time.. now just get out of this and we'll try again in the 9th.
  19. Look at Pompey fly! Jays now lead it 3-2.
  20. At least the 1B defense will be good. And didn't most of these fans want Smoak playing every day?
  21. Jays lineup for 9/1: 1. Ben Revere (L) LF 2. Josh Donaldson ® 3B 3. Jose Bautista ® RF 4. Edwin Encarnacion ® DH 5. Troy Tulowitzki ® SS 6. Justin Smoak (S) 1B 7. Dioner Navarro (S) C 8. Kevin Pillar ® CF 9. Ryan Goins (L) 2B
  22. As it stands, for 90 wins, Jays only need to go 16-15 rest of the way. Yanks need a bigger run, needing to go 18-14. Last night's game wasn't encouraging for the Yanks, as their offensive woes popped up again (especially when their only offense has been coming from Gregorius). Heck, A-Rod has declined so much, McCann isn't even being pitched to anymore (walked 3 times last night). Expect more of this.. the Yanks offense isn't good with A-Rod being worthless, and Gardner/Ellsbury struggling.
  23. He'll mostly be used for PRing and defensive replacement as it stands right now.
