So...just to clarify...he doesn't pitch an inning, gets $8.0M this year and another $4.0M next year. No chance in hell he comes back to be an effective pitcher next year. I just don't see it. He still has another $8.0M and 4 years left on his contract. I honestly don't see Torts or MG getting fired. I think they'll get one more chance and MG will make some drastic changes this summer. If anyone is fired I'd probably say MG is more likely. I don't know if there's any dressing room issues but I don't mind Torts myself. I know the Calgary incident was way over the top but he's been pretty level headed all year. We just need another elite forward. Look at the forwards on ANA, SJS, LA and CHI. We can't compete with that.

We've def been regressing these last few years but we're going to get a 1st rd pick in the 5-10th overall area this summer and our prospect pool is the best it's been in years. I have my hopes!
