    are the players they replace lind and fransisco with any better? no because they replace them with guys like reinolds, valencia goins, and gose who are bad hitters and minor league scrubs with no hitting experiecne in mlb. has sitting lind, rasmus, and fransisco on the bench against leftys helped they jays this season. no because they missed the played for the 22nd staright season. has sitting lefty batters against lefty pitching ever worked for the jays? no because the jasy havent been in the playoffs for the past 22 years. case closed

    did the players that they replaces them with improve the team after mid june? no it disimproved the team even more. why> because they replaces juan and rasmus with minor league scrubs who were poor batters with no big league hitting experience.

    juan fransisco was a big part of the bglue jays run at first place during may and june and after that they benched him. thats why the manager sucks and the team sank in the bottom of the ocean. 3 reasons why team sank 1) tthey didnt play fransisco on a regular basis 2) they didnt play rasmus on a regular basis 3) they didnt play lind on a regular basis All three of them are good hiters. instead they played a bunch of scrubs and minor leagers like goins and gose in their place dont give me that lefty right match ups excuse. if u want ur hitters to hit well, then a manager has to show confidence in them whether that hitter is facing a lefty or a righty. benching the hitter because he didnt hit well the last 5 games or because their is a lefty on the mound will only destroy the batters skills and confidence even more.

    do u know why he was bad? He had 14 homeruns by the end of may, he was at one time third or fourth on the team in rbis when jays were playing good baseball in may and june. After that they benched him for most of the season. He only came to pinch hit. that is why he was bad because they benched him. when he was a fulltime 1b or dh in the lineup he was playing very good baseball

    He could have put aaron schanzes in the rotaion when he was called up instead he put him in the bullpen for a whole 2 months when everyone knows that schanzes is a starting pitcher. That is why the manager is the problem.

    Adam Lind last year had more than 22 homeruns with an ops above.840. Juan fransico already had more than 14 homeruns by the end of may and gibbons benched him after that for more than 80 percent of the games.

    The manager is the problem. He sat down Juan fransico and Colby Rasmus on the bench who were 3rd and 4th on the team in homerun and rbis at one point or another in the season for more than half a season when they were healthy. He sits down adam lind on the bench who is capable of having a 30 homerun and 100 rbi season for half the season when he was healthy. Colby rasmus last year has an ops above.850 wih 24 homeruns 76 rbis and a good .265 batting avg.

    The jays need to add big name free agents next year. That is something that the jays have not done ever in their franshise. The blue jays as of right now need an upgrade on 2b sp, c and lf (melky is not working for them and wont work for them next year aswell) If the jays really want to win then they should sign robby cano, brian mccan, ellsbury, ervin sanatan and lincecum. I am not saying that they should sign all 5 of these free agents but they should try to sign as many as they can from the top free agents list and these players would help out the jays alot an turn them into instant contenders

    arencebia is batting above lind and izturis he is not batting above good players so arencebia should remain at 7th in the lineup

    Bautista is a rbi man he should not bat 2nd lind sucks, he should bat 8th arencebia should bat 7th lawrie is also an rbi man, he should bat 5th behind ee rasmus is also an rbi man he should bat 5th if there is a lefty out on the mound, rasmus should remain 5th because rasmus can hit against leftys his batting avg vs leftys is in .260s

    I think the main blame goes on the coatching staff and it also goes on the general manger They didnt do a good job in setting up the lineup the big fat gm named aa anthopolus didnt do a good job in the ofseason because he kept lind and didnt upgrade 1st base and because he also didnt upgrade the catcher position and melky cabrera was not a good signing imo

    Again I am not an expert in this but I think that the mlb paid the media to write lies about bonds and sosa taking steroids and they have been doing that ever since Notice how like 95+ pecent of all these players are either latinos or black I think that mlb did not want arod and bonds becoming hall of famers, having clean careers,and walking around with 800+ home runs after their retirement But thats just what I think I dont know about u guys

    A newspaper in florida broke a story because mlb and bud selig gave them these lies to write about They wanted to put down bonds and sosa, so they made an agreement with the media to make up lies about bonds and sosa taking steroids and that was all very well planed I am not an expert in this but my common sense tells me that the mlb knew that bonds and sosa didnt take steroids but they wanted to put them down because they couldnt handle another black player passing babe ruth, who I think has also taken peds Remember bonds has never tested positive for steroids and peds etc

    They might not support steroid use but they do lie about players taking steroids especially if they are black or latino and since both the media, mlb, and all the team owners work for each other, its very hard for players these days who have been wrongly accused to go against this, so they just accept the punishment This was a reply to northof49

    They all knew that the "old time" guys took steroids, the mlb and even the media. But since the media works for mlb and mlb works for the media, they let them take steroids and maybe even encouraged them They encourage them because they wanted to make the game popular because steroids would allow all those players to hit more home runs, and it would also raise the offensive fire power of the game and the more home runs a player hits, the more popular the game of baseball becomes
