  2. Never said it did change anything. People were wondering how often teams blow 2-0 leads in the ALCS, I was curious myself, so I looked it up. No need to get snarky about it.
  3. Yeah, but the Red Sox won Game 1 that year, so they weren't coming back from a 0-2 deficit. The only times it's happened are 2004 (the infamous 0-3 comeback by the Sox), 1985 (which we should know as Jays fans, since we were the ones who choked it away to the Royals), and 1982 (Brewers over Angels).
  4. It's obvious that small-ball wins in the game today. Hopefully Shapiro can get a manager and some players in here who actually have a clue how to play it.
  5. Our only hope is that the offense f***ing grows a pair in front of their home crowd. I know Cleveland's pitching is good, but our offense isn't even making them break a sweat with their weak-ass approach.
  6. It wouldn't be a dumb decision to leave him out there even if it doesn't work out, IMO.
  7. Yeah, it has nothing to do with their vastly superior offense and manager, or their unhittable relief pitcher. http://i.imgur.com/seh6p.gif
  8. With our offense back in September form, it feels more like an 11-run game.
  9. Just think: we still have to watch two more games of this s***.
  10. Just f***ing walk his ass all series. Christ.
  11. Sad, but true. Those back-to-back Hank Aaron/Silver Slugger seasons feel like they just happened yesterday.
  12. Bautista is starting to look really old really fast.
  13. I've seen way more posts like this over the last two games than any actual "crying."
  14. I'm talking about the manager, not the GM. Francona >>>>>> Gibbons.
  15. The Indians are just a smarter and better-managed team. It is what it is, guys. This isn't s***-for-brains Bannister and the choking Rangers anymore.
  16. I couldn't give a rat's ass how he looks or talks. He could be the ugliest person in the world with the most obnoxious accent and it wouldn't matter if only he were competent.
  17. Too bad our dumb hick manager is probably too stubborn to make the obvious change. We will have to hope that the offense heats back up again in spite of Gibbons.
  18. Tough to win when you're playing against Kluber, Miller, the umps, and Gibbons.
  19. Still a trillion times better than Gibbons.
