  1. Merry Xmas
  2. Ahhh, I ranked him #10
  3. 1. Vlad JR 2. Bichette 3. Alford 4. Pearson 5. Zeuch 6. Jansen 7. SRF 8. Warmoth 9. Guerriel 10. Urena
  4. +1. I would even listen on Stroman and Sanchez if they're unlikely to be extended.
  5. As a die-hard Jays fan, I'm actually excited and happy for our rival, the Yankees if they get Stanton. Sounds odd, but i'll explain. The Jays and the Yankees are in completely different stages of life cycle. We're an old and mediocre team at best and they're young, good and improving. We won't be competing with them for the division for quite a while I would say. If not Stanton, they'll go after Harper and Machado next off-season anyways. The Yankees actually succesfully rebuilt/Retooled rather rapidly. They developed their young core. And they made some excellent trades. We all remember they sold off Chapman and Miller at the 2016 trade deadline. At the time and Yankees were still in the race but they had the judgement and the courage to pull off the trades. Sure their fan base understandably wasn't too happy. How that turned out for them. They deserve their team. I wish the Jays would take a similar approach to rebuild/retool our team and have even better success. The Yankees will be a fun team to watch for the next few years for their loaded lineup. And we can be a fun team to watch too if we acquire, develop young talents. It can also be beneficial as we play a lot, for for the record/standing, but for developing our young, future stars. You make most progresse by playing against the best. If we can get where the Yankees are now, and start competing in 3 years, I'll be very happy.
  6. We could've traded Pillar to M's for their #1 prospect
  7. I love this move. Don't care about Diaz but I'm so happy not to look at Woodman's when I check our MILB stats. What a waste of pick. I never understood why we picked a strickout machine in college so high in the draft.
  8. Yankees or Mariners
  9. MLB should have new rules forcing teams to trade/Sign players every week!! This is just too quiet, not to say a dead offseason.
  10. If it were to me, I'd rather protect Romano than Tellez.
  11. Thanks. That's a decent start all in all. I'm hoping he can be a #3 in our future rotation.
  12. How's Zeuch doing? Sorry I can't watch the game.
  13. Sad, sad news. RIP Doc. My favorite Blue Jays. A great pitcher, a great man, class act all around.
  14. It's obvious JD wants to play with Vladitto lol
  15. Great news. Estrada can still be a good end of rotation starter and he seems to really enjoy playing for the Jays. Win-win.
  16. Gibby's smart. He gives the young pitchers a good audition and improves our draft position too.
  17. Mayza seems to have a good fastball but he often gets hit hard. maybe bad location or just too straight?
  18. We've been pretty good and luck in finding those relievers, out of nowhere. from Barnes, Tepera, Leone to Ramirez. Look promising for the future.
  19. Ramirez's awesome!
  20. I vote Yes. Where's the poll?
  21. Conner Green our best pitching prospect? Pretty gross
  22. Osuna Matata!!! The strikeout pitches on Pedroia and Ramirez are filthy. A closer with 4 + pitches? He's so fun to watch. I have a wild dream: One day, Osuna will start a game, goes 7 ips, we go to Tepara, then Osuna comes back in the 9th to close out the game. He will get a win and a save in the same game! lol /kidding
  23. It will be interesting to see what Shatkins do at the trade deadline. They may try not to selloff just keep the hope/illusion that we're still in the wildcard race. Understandable from a revenue/attendance POV. But baseball wise, it would take a miracle for us to get even the second wildcard. We went 89-73 last year to get to wildcard. We need to go 46-24 to reach 89, playing a 0.657 pct ball. Let's say the second wildcard is more wild open this year, we only need a 85-79 record. We still need to go 42-28. That's 0.600 winning pct. So far this season, only 3 teams have played better than 0.600 ball: the Dodgers, Astros and the Nationals.
  24. Osuna so dominating! And Tepera's been a nice surprise this year.
